Christian “Chippendale” Wilhelmsson scored again – but tonight’s king named David Accam.
The striker cut Mjallby with his two goals.
– I have very bad memories from here so I wanted to help the team get three points, says the match hero.
Christian Wilhelmsson’s success in Mjallby continued. Against Helsingborg was the “Chippendale” who scored the first goal. Markus Holgersson dropped the ball when the away team would regroup and Anders Blomqvist could intercept the ball.
The midfielder played until Wilhelmsson who put his third goal since his comeback in Mjallby.
But, then took Helsingborg across.
David Accam made a jerked to the side, broke into the penalty area and sat 1-1. In the second half, came runner-up. And it was Accam did it again.
“Sometimes you have to be selfish”
Helsingborg star is now up on 12 goals in the Premier League this season, two goals by leading scorer leader Lasse Vibe.
– I have very bad memories from here so when I came here, I wanted to make the most of the situation and try to help the team get three points, says Accam who was sent off when Helsingborg met Mjallby away from home last year.
Accam had the chance to make a hat-trick with fifteen minutes left in the match, but the finish went wide.
– I’ve never made a hat-trick of my career, I thought I had the chance. Maybe I should have fit, but sometimes you have to be selfish, he says.
Helsingborg won, however, by 2-1 and are now climbing up to eighth place in the table. Mjallby remains below the line.
