Lindstedt’s success – is already ready for semi – Expressen

Robert Lindstedt’s success in ATP finals continues.

After the victory against world ones beat Swede – paired with Lukasz Kubot – World threes Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares in the super tiebreak.

Now, the couple is ready for the semifinals.

Robert Lindstedt and Lukasz Kubot took the ATP finals as the eighth and last pair.

Once there, there have been huge success.

On Monday struck one sensational twin brothers Mike and Bob Bryan – superior world ones – in straight sets.

The win was followed up with another win against world threes Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares on Wednesday with a 6-4, 3-6 and 10-6 in the super tiebreak.

The Swedish-Polish pair broke their opponents directly set and controlled the first set straight through, and won 92 percent of the score after the first serve.

In the second set the roles were reversed: Peya / Soares broke Lindstedt serve directly, enough setseger.

But in the super tiebreak raised took Kubot / Lindstedt re command. The pair went up to 3-0 after two sharp rebounds, and held since the distance all the way to victory by 10-6.

– We got a great start in

the first set and serviced so well that it became comfortable. Then we do a poor serve game in the second set, with mistakes in the middle in front of the net and so I miss a first volley. We’re giving away the gamete says Lindstedt.

– But we sort it out eventually. It’s hard to get a better start than we got in the super tiebreak, he said.

The Swedish-Polish pair is thus clear group winners, and thus ready for the semifinals, although one match remaining in the group. There, waiting for Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau.

– We will not hold back. We welcome the 200 point where you get to win the match. We will go in and tear for it, says Lindstedt.

After the victory against Bryan brothers acclaimed Lindstedt and Kubot their respective mothers. After Wednesday night’s victory autographed pair of the cameras again – with some publicly unknown nickname. Kubots writing could not decipher, and Lindstedt wrote “Bushti” with a heart.

– This is the girl’s nickname. I do not know … I had not planned it. But it is a nice guy who I get on well together, says Lindstedt.
