Redbergslid took fourth straight home victory – Gothenburg Post

Redbergslid has gained momentum considerably. On Wednesday, the proposed SM-finalist Lugi back and Göteborg climb the table.

Now I’m the best in town – even if you factor in Partille.

The final result was 27-22.

It was the fourth straight home win for the strikingly rich, thus climbing up in sixth place in the table, the ninth. Playoff mode, in other words, and it is above all the fine home form which lifted the team.

Recently defeated Swedish champions Alingsås in Lisebergshallen, and this time it was thus Lugis luck. Fourth straight home victory, CIC, who began the season with three straight losses.

Like so many times recently, it was Linus Arnesson that was best in the home team, he accounted for all nine hits, several of which were spectacular shot that got the crowd to cheer.

The CIC took the lead early, but the big, strong Lugi remained in the game until the very last. The ruling can be said to have been when the talented goalkeeper Tony Heeringson saved a penalty with four minutes left. Then led CIC with three goals, and was then able to pull away to a fairly easy victory. The last minute praised the home team with a standing ovation.

Redbergslid step thanks to victory past Malmo, Hammarby – and Sävehof in the table.
