Panther ground down AIK – Swedish Radio

The Little Panther from Kirseberg in Malmö had the big game visit: AIK. As the home team conceded 0-1 in numerical superiority, they were in trouble. But Panther did not give up.

0-1 after the first period did not reflect the game. The match was steady but Panther blunt the offensive. After the 0-4 loss against AIK away from home expecting big crowd, 931 people, in the old epic would trample on and earn the lead.

Instead Panther did an even better second period – but without receive dividends. In the third period did everything. 1-1 came after just four minutes, and in game five against three. Slowly it dawned on Panther that the game was theirs and they took on more and more.

excelled Patrik Blomberg was 2-1 after twelve minutes. Since AIK got a ticket into the game again but Panther retained its position during game three against five for nearly two minutes. 3-1 fought in the open cage and 4-1 became like the last scratch mark on a felled opponent.

– In the second period we played very well and continued in the third period, but I think we deserved to win, says Patrik Blomberg, NS Panther.

42-32 in shots illustrate how much Panther created. The victory means the team retains second place in the table with two games left. Games of the Hockey Allsvenskan is well within the reach of småkatterna from Kirseberg. Next up Västervik in the season’s final home game.

Listen to interviews with sporting director Joakim Berg talks about the season and about the future and with Mikael Kelada from Black Panther.

– We are one of Division 1 youngest teams and has developed fantastically and now that we are having this far, we want to take a place in the Premier League, says Joakim To Rock, Sports, NS Panther.

TV: An acidic record loss for Frölunda – Göteborgs-Posten

Frölunda have never played a long game – but ended up as losers.

– Acid! But we can only see forward, says Anton Blidh.

So it took 104 minutes blank to determine the winner of the second semi-final of Vida Arena.
– I’ll keep it brief – so we make it home for the next game, joking Frölunda’s coach Roger Rönnberg at the press conference afterwards.

It took a cavalcade of chances that there would eventually be a winning team left and receive the jubilation of Vida Arena.
Frölunda had the fourth period clear, while Växjö came back in the fifth – to determine a bite into the sixth. Tuomas Kiiskinen shot, finishing shot hit the unlucky hill Mikael Wikstrand – and ended up behind a chance Lasse Johansson.
– It is a typical övertidsmål. Thus coincidences that determine. I think that we handle extension good. It is hard to have bounce around. Now we need to recharge for the next match, said Roger Rönnberg.

The word acid is the word mentioned most in the locker room this late evening.
For Frölunda actually had lots of chances – even if Växjö it was slightly sharper team.
Mathis Olimb got two completely open positions in sudden death in front of Christopher Nihlstorp the Lakers goal – but failed tucked the puck someone of the time.
– Acid, was the word.

Frölunda can do without striker Ryan Lasch, who was forced deleted with injury – or at least “pain in a muscle,” according to the doctor Torsten Jonsson.
– He feels good, responsible, however, Roger Rönnberg.

The Comeback Spirit Nicklas Lasus knee kept its better – and at home in Gothenburg stomp and snort both Robin Figren and Andrew Johnson of longing to have to be on the ice again.
It may be a comeback already tomorrow – at least for Figren, as seen reeds out in training the last few days.

To the next battle, the Scandinavium on Maundy Thursday, it’s really hard push for tickets – so a packed stadium is not impossible.
It may be a distinct advantage when it comes to coming back after this loss.
– We need to reload now. You just have to look ahead, promising Anton Blidh, which put Frölunda’s only goal after a volitional effort.

In other Lasse Johansson was by far the best player, with rescue after rescue. He has grown into a key player in this postseason.
– It’s a shame about Lasse, which makes a great match. But think we have a good mentality throughout the match and play patiently in the right locations. Are very positive to take with them, says Roger Rönnberg.

The ruling was delayed. But it came – after 104 minutes, then Växjö Tuomas Kiiskinen equalized thereby to 1-1 in matches in Championship semi-final against Frölunda. Here are celebrating Växjö Nick Johnson 1-0-target and Frölunda Christopher Ehn feeling depressed.

Vaxjo acknowledged – after crazy cliffhanger – Expressen

Växjö has acknowledged in the semifinal series against Frölunda after a marathon match.

Frölunda defenseman Mikael Wikstrand became the scapegoat when he ruled the 2-1 goal in its own bag after 104 minutes played.

– We are happy that goal, said Nick Johnson, C More .

Frölunda’s goalkeeper Lars Johansson dissuaded full 50 shots – but was defeated anyway.

Växjö won the marathon match against Frölunda 2-1 after a ruling in the sixth overtime period. Touma Kiiskinen pulled away a slap shot that was ruled out of Frölunda defenseman Mikael Wikstrand into his own goal.

– It does not matter who scores a goal, laughing Kiiskinen in C More’s broadcast.

After an initial period where Nick Johnson gave Vaxjo line right in front of the goal and Anton Blidh equalized with a tunnel at Christopher Nihlstorp was the goalkeeper the game.

“usually go fast”

Both Lars Johansson in Frölunda as Nihlstorp in Växjö great game and dissuaded 50 and 39 shots, which forced a fourth, fifth and finally the sixth over time.

– There is a real chance that it wont be in the extension. It usually go pretty fast, so Växjö Alexander Johansson after three periods.

He was both right and wrong in its analysis: a slumpmål decided – after 104 minutes played.

– We should have closed in the past. But it does not really matter. The important thing is that we win, says the match winner Kiiskinen.

“Small coincidences”

Växjö receipt therefore in the semifinal series against Frölunda 1-1. Frölunda’s coach Roger Rönnberg was not displeased with the game but disappointed with the result.

– It is a little typical övertidsmål that it bounces on any set. There is little chance that decides. I think that we handle extension fine otherwise, he says to the C More.

– There is no point to think back. Now we need to reload quickly to the next match. On the whole, we do a good road game continues Rönnberg.

On Thursday met the law again in Scandinavium.

– I think I’ll eat anything and cycling in the morning. I need to get my legs ready for the next game, says Kiiskinen.

Deveaux assault not common – Västerbotten Courier

Similar assault as it Rögle player Andre Deveaux did in Vasteras Per Helmersson is unusual. But it happens that sporting miss manifestations end up in court.

It is actually just weeks ago an ugly assault on the ice got more far reaching consequences than in the sports world internal discipline system. Even then stood a Rögle Players in focus. James Lilja crosschecking in mind at Malmö hill Jens Olsson reviewed some time ago by prosecutors.

– It is extremely rare, but there are some cases. Then it’s got to be in the lower divisions, says Hockey Federation’s judgments CEO Thomas Thor Brink.

In a thesis from the University of Lund in 2009, signed Miranda Berg, noted several cases which led to both prosecutions and convictions, including in hockey , football and hockey. Of the 27 judgments analyzed between 1957 and 2008, only three cases which led to prison sentences.

But even though the cases are relatively rare, they can cause trouble in a larger context.

– We have enough problems with the recruitment of both boys and girls to start playing hockey at a young age. And then something happens like this. What parents want to send their children as well, says Torsten Brinkmann.

Deveaux can become an international wanted list – Swedish Radio

The 31-year-old Canadian Deveaux is suspicion of assault after the attack on Vasteras team captain Per Helmersson before qualifying match on Thursday.

Deveaux has been reported to the police by motståndarklubben and also the police in north-west Scania has established a notification.

– He is suspected of assault but the police do not know where he is. And because he is a foreign citizen, I have decided to seek him in his absence, says Margareta Danielsson-Olvon to Helsingborgs Dagblad.

Would Deveaux not showing up of the Swedish police in the foreseeable future he risks being arrested in absentia and international wanted list.

– Although it may be a later issue, says Margareta Danielsson-Olvon to Helsingborgs Dagblad.

Radiosporten hockey expert Kristofer Ottosson found in Yesterday (Monday) to the case Deveaux should be tried in the District Court.

– This is a situation that has to do with hockey and can not be assessed with ice hockey rules, why not? I thought it was going over the limit. For what else is going over the limit, said Ottosson then.

Holy Thursday could be one of Leksand’s darkest days – Aftonbladet

Malmö. Malmo is just one win from SHL and I think they’ll take it.

After 6-3 at home against Leksand, it suddenly leksingarna that has all the pressure on them.

Maundy Thursday at Siljan could be one of dala club’s darkest days.

Now I will not draw too many conclusions from a game series that was crazy. The match yesterday was no exception. There were two muddled defense and two or three scoring opportunities in the minutes it felt like. The match through.

It was video views, pucks at the finish line, goalkeeper blunders, pucks uprights and crossbar and disallowed goals.

The hill Jeremiah Augustins 1-0 after 11:29 of the first period hit on something way the tone. A shot from the center line, as a misplaced and floundering Oscar Alsenfelt conceded. Possibly touched the puck a Leksand players, but from that distance should not be any goalie let in some pucks. Not at this level.

And if the game is confused many times, so it will be equally confusing in playing time afterwards.

I stand outside Malmö omklädningrum afterwards and hear the match, the hero Jens Jacob talk Dalarna paintings, when the previous size no explains the feelings before the game seven.

Then I go thirty yards further down the hall and hear Leksand goalkeeper Oscar Alsenfelt decline in the Skåne called malmöit Kingdom.

refers to “Leksand” syndrome …

He is born and raised in town and spent many years in Malmö Redhawks.

But that’s the way hockey Sweden looks today.

A continuous cycle of players who rarely stays in the same club, especially many seasons. Now it was Jens Jacob who pangade it 5-3 behind Alsen infact that closed this game in the third period.

And that created an Easter thriller on Thursday. A new meeting between Leksand and Malmö in Tegera Arena, where Scanians skated on such heavy losses over the years that there is talk of a “Leksand syndrome”.

Twice an already sawed-off Leksand gambled away from Malmo an SHL place.

First 2007 when Scanians dropped a given SHL place in the tenth and final round of qualification matches then, when they lost 6-5. And in 2008 it was even worse. Malmö were second before the last round and could only win the last match against an equally sawed-off Leksand. They led with both 3-0 and 4-2, but still managed to lose 4-5 in sudden. But now it Leksand who have the most to lose.

Feels Like anything can happen

It is they who are the SHL team, they are the ones who can get rid of something and every player knows what a disaster it would be for both the resort and club. A new retreat to the Hockey Allsvenskan. Therefore, I believe that the odds are in Malmö page. They have everything to gain.

And in this case I do not believe that the home will be of no benefit to leksingarna. It will just create even more pressure.

On the other hand, this game series so catchy that it feels like anything can happen in game seven. But the advantage Malmö is it, anyway.

To Win Malmö on Maundy Thursday will be directly qualifier an unparalleled success for South-Sweden.

Too bad not both go up

First went Karlskrona up, then Skåne neighbor Rögle. But what is best for SHL?

Leksand is a cash cow for all teams because they draw far the most spectators away from home. They have fans all over Sweden.

Malmo its part, hockey Sweden’s finest venue and rogles advancement guarantee at least four scorching, Skåne derbies.

I can almost feel it is a pity that not both go up.

Andre Deveaux was fired – Gathering is secure – Helsingborgs Dagblad

– We have decided to go their separate ways. We obviously distance from the event and André is right saddened today and it should probably be said rogles Chairman Hakan Eriksson.

It was the middle of the Sunday game as a movie clip from the match four downstairs in Angelholm came out on net. It shows how Andre Deveaux stands at rogles stalls and then veers towards Per Helmersson and cut down Vasteras captain with the stick from behind.

– I saw the movie clip in the third period yesterday. And it’s so clear an event we do not in any way stand behind Håkan Eriksson said.

When did you order?

– During the day. I have been very busy at my job today so when I stopped for the day so we took hold of it, Håkan Eriksson said.

Andre Deveaux, who on Sunday was not repentant says this in a press release from the Rögle.

– The emotions took over for me there for a few seconds. Although my reputation seems to precede me, I am not a violent person. If anything, perhaps a passionate player. My intent was never to inflict any serious injury and given that I’m a much bigger person than As Helmersson it is clear that if the damage has been my intention, he had not been able to play the game or the next.

a longer movie that came out on Monday is seen rogles assistant coach Michael Gathering go down and talk to Deveaux before the Canadian strikes twice with the stick in the ice and goes to attack Per Helmersson.

– I have seen also the film, but in a little cell phone, Håkan Eriksson said.
sport was promised an interview with Sports Director Anders Carlsson throughout Monday, but from the club’s direction was guided evening questions over as Chairman Hakan Eriksson.

What is Michael Gaths view of it all?

– He has not consented to Andre Deveaux to perform any act Håkan Eriksson said.

– I understand that people on social media and the Hockey Sweden think he said anything, but there are people who have not been in the hall and can not possibly have heard the dialogue.

Michael Gathering has thus continued confidence?
– Yes.

André Deveauxs behavior on heating to Västerås was the third disciplinary overshoot in a year. A drug conviction, a misshandelsdom and so Andre Deveaux.

How does the club’s core values?

– I think it’s a coincidence, Håkan Eriksson said.

– When it comes Stefan Ridderwall, and Alen Bibic we took our responsibilities and took care of the players. In this case Deveaux so overshoot too big and we went our separate ways.

Rögle Chairman received a Monday that he would have liked to have after advancement.

– We are obviously proud of Having gone to the SHL and we have a J20 team in the semifinals, but it is clear that this kind of event gives challenges to overcome, Håkan Eriksson said.

Strong Malmö takes off series to the seventh and decisive in Leksand, Sweden – Swedish Radio

One match at a furious pace with judges who called it one after the other – but should have called for more. A Malmö Redhawks as did one of the season’s most positive matches – and won by a margin. Faced with giant crowd.

It thus becomes a seventh and decisive match on Maundy Thursday in Leksand after Malmo struck dalmas are 6-3 at home in Malmö Arena before 12 574. Målkalaset started with a giant shot from the center line of Jeremias Augustin and ended up with a simple soil ridging in the open bag of Mathias Tjärnqvist.

The home side began the frantic pace, but like so many times before did not materialize objectives, a little while . But after about ten minutes of first began rapping dialogue with the replica of the replica. 1-0 to Malmö became 1-1, which became 2-1 and 3-1. In this situation, Malmö had a firm grip on the match.

But a clumsy penalty and a good power play from Leksand did anyway that first period ended 3-2. Leksingarna had contact. Malmö pulled back in the top of others with again nibbled Rating again to 4-3. Scanians had the next goal inside but there was sentenced doubtful away.

The third period was the home team aggressively and controlled. The only thing they could not survive the game was numerically superior position, but otherwise the size larger than Leksand that never came really close again. Everything is determined on Thursday.

Many were good in Malmö. Two goal Sagittarius Tjärnqvist and formation Jadeland-Häggström-Persson deserves special mention.

Last year, improved his results significantly and he was among other things, just one second from the world record of an English mile. As he explained in a GP interview that the Declaration was a change in technique and strength training.

But last week it was revealed that Gustafsson caught in a doping control, and on Monday he heard via e-mail to the Pedestrian and wanders the union competition committee.

– Currently, he does not say much, but he does not deny that he at that time had illicit drugs in the body, says Birger Field.

will therefore not be any b-test?

– No, it is done only if the active requests, and it has not done Andreas. So it honors him that he did not say anything but the truth.

The recognition, that is. And a heavy blow to Swedish sport – and especially for walking sport, which already is both questioned and marginalized.

– Sure, it came as a shock for us and it affects us. But there is some same pattern as most other doping cases in Sweden in the sense that the active long residence in other countries and had daily contact with Swedish sport, says Birger Field.

He refers to Andreas ago many years living and studying in the United States. There, he is also right now, and according to Field, it is unlikely that he will return shortly. Or that he ever return to the sport.

– It’s likely that he quit. I do not know how long the suspension will be, but I would think that he made his. It is very difficult in Sweden to come back after these things, says Field.

Fact: Malmö’s quest for SHL – Göteborgs-Posten

Malmö’s eighth straight retreat of ice hockey’s highest series is still on track.

Scanians forced a seventh and deciding match in SHL qualifiers against Leksand .

– Now it 50-50 in the press, says striker Jens Jacob after 6-3 victory before 12,574 spectators at home.

Malmo, with two national championships in 1992 and 1994, has tried to get back into the top flight since relegation in 2007 – but each retreat has failed.

Yet there SHL ticket left within reach of the eighth straight attempt. When the striker Jens Jacob after 12:36 of the third period threw himself forward and pressed the 5-3 shut Malmo sixth game against Leksand – leveling the score to 3-3 in matches.

– It was a relief. It was fair, said Jens Jacob.

Malmö Arena boiled in the state and now awaits a seventh and deciding match in Leksand on Maundy Thursday.

– Now we suck at this. You just have to go out and run and we must try to take command there too. But we face a good team too. We must remember that and be humble, said Jacob.

To meet Leksand in a match series about a place in the country’s top ice hockey series is especially for Jacob, who was born in Sater in Dalarna.

– I would lie if I would say something else. I played in Mora for ten years, but there are not so many moringar, it is most size entries. So it is special, said the 30-year-old.

Malmo was always in the driver’s seat målmässigt and Jeremias Augustin led the way with his 1-0 goal – a slap shot from the center line ruled out loud behind Leksand goalkeeper Oscar Alsenfelt 11:29 into the game.

– There is no goalkeeper in the world who take it. It’s tough, but it changes from one pole to the other, said Alsen infact.

Who is in the driver’s seat for the seventh game in Leksand is difficult to predict, according to Alsen infact.

– It only knows the gods, I was about to say. It is up to us to be better prepared mentally. All must go into themselves. We all need to level up and we will win it so we said Alsen Infact, who is brought up in Malmö Club Panther and played in Malmo as a junior.

Mathias Tjärnqvist became a two-goal shooter in Malmö. The last thing he put in the open cage in the final stage and the first thing signified 4-2 in powerplay but a minute into my act.

– It was nice to win this match, it was extremely important. It will be really fun to go up to Leksand, said Tjärnqvist.

According Tjärnqvist Malmö has an advantage before deciding on Thursday.

– We have nothing to lose because we do not have come in with something (to lose), said Tjärnqvist.

Malmö played in the ice hockey’s highest series between 1990-2005 and 2006-2007 season. The days of glory was when the club took the national championships in 1992 and 1994. How has it been for the club in pursuit of a SHL place since the demotion, 2007:

2007-08: Dropped Elite League qualifying spot in the show’s final round after 4- 5 loss to Leksand in extension.

2008-09: Season premiere in Malmö Arena. Financial worries meant that players had to leave the club in the middle of the season. A young team was still close to reach the playoffs for a place in qualification matches, but lost the chance in the final round – again against Leksand. A corporatisation rescued the club’s existence.

2009-10: Missed the qualification matches for the top division after loss in playoff against Almtuna.

2010-11: Missed qualification matches – eight in the headlines.

2011-12: Missed kvalserie after being second in the Preliminary Round series – despite the fact that Hugo Stenbeck pumped millions into the association.

2012-13: Missed qualification matches – ninth in the series.

2013-2014: Four in qualification matches – missed SHL place.

2014-2015: 3-3 in matches in direct qualifier against Leksand. The last game played in Leksand on Maundy Thursday.

In midfield, it looks as if Sebastian Larsson and Erkan Zengin for space on the right of midfield and Emil Forsberg begins to the left.

And in the assault may Marcus Berg get a chance from the start. He formed attacking pair with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. This means that Isaac Kiese Thelin falls outside the starting line-up.

Video: Deveauxs brutal assault on Helmersson – “A disgrace to the sport” – Swedish Radio

On the video you can see how Deveaux standing at the rim and then take a few cuts into the course and slasha Per Helmersson from behind and then jump on him. After that erupted a masslagsmål on the ice.

– I feel that it’s the ugliest has happened in Swedish hockey. That he plays today (Sunday) is absolutely deplorable. Both of rogles page, not to the closing of him, and from the Hockey Federation’s side, says Per Helmersson to Radiosporten.

Deveaux was punished not for the event but now says Swedish Ice Hockey Federation tournament director Mikael Lundström told Aftonbladet that you should take up the case of the Disciplinary Board.

– Given this sequence, I would like to talk to them. Normally not fall incidents during the warming during the disciplinary board without the union’s competition committee, but we need to have a discussion now says Mikael Lundström Aftonbladet.

Vasteras coach Martin Filander was really upset after the fifth and final qualifying match when he came to Radiosporten microphone.

– He’s a disgrace to the sport. I have no respect for the man and I have no respect for the leaders of Rögle BK who knew that it would happen, says Vasteras coach Martin Filander and continues:

– It does not belong in sport at all. That’s an assault in higher school. He still participate and compete and help them to SHL and it’s horrible for Swedish sport.

What do you think should happen to him, do you?

– There must be a brutally long shutdown and cruel penalties. I think it’s terrible for the sport, it is none of our bottom line to do. It has nothing to do with us losing, he is a mediocrity in their team. But it is horrible only.

Have you seen anything worse?

– No.

Deveaux reported to the Disciplinary Committee – Aftonbladet

rogles SHL advancement got a bitter aftertaste.

Everything came into place to shop for Andre Deveaux and his assault on Per Helmersson.

Now the Canadian notified to the Disciplinary Committee and the star’s fate is decided on Wednesday.

– We will watch the event, said Alexander Ramsay.

Rögle celebrated SHL advancement by 4-1 in matches against Västerås yesterday.

But the joy was replaced by rage from Västerås Hold and sharp criticism from the country’s hockey experts.

The reason: Andre Deveaux.

In the midst of yesterday’s game showed pictures of how rogles Canadians went to Per Helmersson and brutally bludgeoned him on warming in the meeting last Thursday.

– I have no respect for the man in question, He is a disgrace to Swedish hockey, said Vasteras coach Martin Filander when he saw the pictures after yesterday’s match.

And Deveaux himself told me that he does not feel any remorse:

– No. He played on, he was fine. I’ll think about him while I celebrate with the team, he said.

rogles party continued late last night, but at the same risk Deveaux one of history’s longest shutdowns.

Confirms notification

He was already registered for the Competition Tribunal, but judgments officer, Thomas Thor Brink, left late last night, a notification also to the Disciplinary Committee and now confirms the Swedish Ice Hockey Federation that the notification has been received.

On Wednesday The Disciplinary Committee shall review the incident and a decision is expected to come on the same day, or on Thursday.

– We will take hold of the matter as quickly as possible. But the law has finished playing so it does not burn in knots, says Disciplinary Committee’s Chairman, Alexander Ramsay.

Should compare

How will you review it ?

– We have to watch the event, check if there are any similar incidents to compare with.

Is there really any similar event?

– Not the last few years, but we have to look back through the years. Further, I would not comment.

Nystrom: Deveaux should not play hockey – Expressen

Sorry for all the real hockey players in SHL team Rögle do not get the praise they deserve today.

Andre Deveaux gets the fattest headers.

I’m surprised?

Not at all.

lathes to a Canadian rough – then anything can happen.

And for those of you who want to see more fights in Swedish hockey:

Do you really want to have more players like Andre Deveaux ?

My, how many were surprised movie clip Andre Deveaux attack As Helmersson .

It was not me.

The one notable was that it happened at a heating and it looks very dramatic out.

Many are also surprised how Andre Deveaux has responded to the criticism.

He does not think there is anything strange at all with his woodcutting.

I understand Deveaux more than his fiercest critics.

For he did what he always did.

He took the law into their own hands.

It has been his job since he was a junior.

He had 151 penalty minutes a season as a junior. He got up 210 penalty minutes a season in the AHL, then continued with 232 penalty minutes another time. He had 75 penalty minutes in 21 NHL games with Toronto – but where plat said he did not and then it became rather 216 penalty minutes with Toronto’s AHL team.

Overall, he has gotten together over 1500 penalty minutes in the AHL.

When Andre Deveaux felt that Vasteras batting an ugly tackles in the back and then shot pucks at Rögle during a warm-up, he reacted as Canadian hockey thugs in the junior leagues, the AHL and the NHL has done in all times.

He felt that it was time for revenge and he took the law into their own hands.

He did his job.

– What have you contributed in Rögle, asked Niklas Jihde after the game.

Deveaux said among other things:

Size .

He do not mean literally the size, he believes that he has been a player who plays hard and tough (ie: administer their own justice).

I also think Andre Deveaux behaved like a fool when he struck down Helmersson.

I also think he should quit playing hockey – at least in a league where we do not want to see this type of player.

However, I have been with for too long to be shocked.

I have seen similar attacks many times in the NHL – even if there happened to warming.

But it has been thought through and dirty attacks – often worse output for the victims.

The worst was understood when Todd Bertuzzi completed Steve Moore’s career.

Almost as bad was when Marty McSorley hit Donald Brashear .

But search on Youtube for Tie Domi Ulf Samuelsson and then Domi + Scott Niedermayer .

What you see then is what many in NHL believe are fair.

What players like Andre Deveaux and Tie Domi been taught since they were juniors is their job.

To take the law into their own hands.

This type of thugs usually make up by thugs in opposing teams, but they are constantly unsecured weapons.

It may at any time derail – and then what anything happen.

Although the warming.

Deveaux course, was not the least bit tough when he struck down Helmersson from behind.

Even sadder is that rogles management occurs equally cowardly when you blame what happened on Vasteras.

On the other hand: Anders “mask” Carlsson is probably not surprised.

He has been with long – and himself played in the NHL and AHL.

“mask” knew what he was doing when he enlisted Andre Deveaux .

He wanted a “tough guy”.

And he got it.

Leman: The tempo only way to disrupt Cardinal – Express

Gothenburg. Roger Rönnberg and his coaching staff can screw this, find important details there, but will Frölunda raw in Växjö in the semifinal series is the one thing counts:

Full speed.

Do not pull the tempo .

Screw it up.

“There is momentum, breaking, crushing and cracking.”

Some of you who remember?

It was the SRA’s old campaign that Swedes would run slower on the roads.

Mats Grauers once the M-politicians in Partille, has no contacts remain in authority-Sweden maybe he can fix up an old decal and put in Frölunda’s dressing room.

Speed are the key.

Smart, experienced, heavy, sharp Vaxjo?

Oh, yes.

Witty Vaxjo?

Not so much.

Not Somehow I call Växjö slopes for bad, my God, it’s a team with the capacity to mess with himself Skelleftea of national championships, but it is somewhere Frölunda can interfere so it’s like this.

Speed in the launch of the game.

Speed in play-acting.

speed off the mark with the puck in the attacking zone.

Quick decisions. Quick questions to Noah Welch , Cory Murphy & amp; Co.

There I am excited about the answers.

The worse without them

It requires a fairly large degree of naivety for not realizing what the absence of the top 6 -forwards as Andrew Johnson and Robin Figren (66 core selection points together!) makes an SHL-law.

Of course, Frölunda poorer without them.

Of course it does Vaxjo to favorite.

Of course, Frölunda winning anyway.

It only takes a little more of everything else.

Never pull the tempo in their own zone, never pull the tempo somewhere, hurricane, hurricane, hurricane play fast and hard all over the ice, game after game.

“We’ll try and see of Växjö dryers work as hard as we are, “said Roger Rönnberg to me when we snabbsnackade after the Saturday training.

Without the two stars must Frölunda minimize mistakes, playing the fast-fit hockey as backward team hallmark during Rönnberg, and so do Mattias Janmark and Mathis Olimb sure Joel Lundqvist chain are getting relief.

Done it goes

Of course it goes. There are plenty of quality left in Frölunda.

It makes it in Växjö, too.

This series has all the makings of attraction. Can not we drop the puck soon …?

It is twelve years since Tomi Kallio shot into all hockey interested göteborgares hearts.

There are twelve years ago I stood and watched as he, who last frölundait, trying to get up the stairs to Valands banquet hall.

It was almost impossible.

All supporters wanted to hug and kiss the guy who had just sat the decisive 4-3-puck, 1:56 into the sixth (!) period against Farjestad in the national finals fourth

In the afternoon, he is back in Scandinavium. He has been many times before in Växjö’s sweater, but now he is there as captain and leader of a team that will do just about anything to send Frölunda to the golf course.

Tomi Kallio, a little Anders Broström, icon status with Frölunda’s faithful.

How he acts if he scores?

How do the audience?

Finally, some numerical exercise to end Sunday with the reading:

A) 92.74.

B) 92.57.

C) 90.44.

We’re talking save percentage this, and A is Joel Lassinantti , Lulea goalie that I and many with me acclaimed, C is Cristopher Nilstorp , who is considered to have goalkeeper game to tip over in Växjö’s favor.

B Lasse Johansson , the often criticized Frölunda goalie.

Interestingly, right?

17:15: Kallio on the new gold hunting – Göteborgs-Posten

Tomi Kallio has shot Frölunda to gold – and for that, he has fans’ eternal love.

– I’ll enjoy the ambiance of the Scandinavium says Växjö’s captain.

When Vaxjo made it to the semifinals, it was as if time stood still. Tomi Kallio, 38 years young, shot away Július Hudáček and Örebro from the pursuit of LeMat trophy – and still is the Lakers captain is not satisfied.

When he goes into the Scandinavium Arena on Sunday afternoon, it’s the first time it is really serious about a different team than Frölunda.

– It’s true. I have thought about it before, that it would happen one day – to play a playoff series against Frölunda. I see it most positively. It will be fun to play even a playoff game in Scandinavium – and get to feel the atmosphere again.

Daniel Persson is chairman of Goa old men – and Frölunda’s fans have not forgotten his old hero.

– Tomi Kallio means a lot to us. In all the years in Frölunda, he gave always everything for the team and he always took time to talk to the fans. Many Supporting think to this day that Frölunda treated him incredibly bad when they did not renew his contract. With us he will always be one of the greatest players – no matter what team he plays in.

Tomi Kallio silenced.

The voice thickens indeed.

– The feels very good to hear such words … it moves me every time I hear someone say such words. As you know, I thought they over eight years in Gothenburg was absolutely amazing. The people of Gothenburg and the crowd treated me always as their own – and I felt really loved there.

Tomi Kallio living for four years in Växjö with the wife Sini and children Walter and Wilmer, six and three years old.

– What touches me the most is that it’s been four years – but I still feel that I liked and appreciated in Gothenburg …

Växjö was tipped by experts as the gold favorite pre-season – but corresponded maybe not quite the expectations in the game. So after Christmas enlisted club two more players of high quality, Josh Hennessy and Jeff Tambellini.

– When they arrived it became very fierce competition for places. We found a very good level thereafter. We have repeatedly talked about it will be different when the Lakers are gold favorite – and that we must be able to shut off the outside and think only of their own performance. It was perhaps an educational period, for somehow got the experts’ words still up to the guys in the locker room. We found neither game or level before Christmas, not as we thought or thought we would.

The Lakers also have twelve players who come from outside – the largest number in the SHL.

Frölunda talking about testing your morality – as an up-acquired team?

– I understand that many outside may think so, because we have different nationalities. But we have an incredibly good team, we works really well together. All foreigners who are in Växjö is very well scouted, it’s good guys. There are no egoists here – without all the pushing and moving toward the same goal.

And the goal?

– It is to go beyond the semi-finals … we’re not satisfied.

Exactly how an injury suffered Frölunda be defeated is not easy to explain, but Kallio makes an effort.

– You have to play tough for Frölunda has many fast players. They are not as tall. At the same time, do not overdo it. We have to be very good with the puck. Frölunda like bringing the game, but so do we.

It could also be the last time that Tomi Kallio visit Scandinavium, for his contract expires – and the family has talked about moving home to Turku in Finland.

– I do not know at all what I will do. It is quite honestly. Before the playoffs, I tried to think of different scenarios, but felt I did not come to any decision. I do not know if I have any future left – and I have it in that case.
