FIFA’s rules: Barcelona will not sign players – Aftonbladet

Fifa rejects Barcelona’s appeal.

According to the Associated Press, the Spanish club did not sign players on the whole by 2015.

The reason is that the club violated rules regarding the purchase of young players.

It was in the spring as Barcelona sentenced to one year transfer ban. The reason was that the club recruited underage players in an unauthorized manner. The club, however, appealed the judgment to the Fifa heaving decision pending a new decision.

Now, the international football association appeals committee said its – and the verdict stands. FIFA believes that Barcelona’s purchase of ten, unnamed, player taken in the wrong way. Recruits should be about foreign born players under 18.

Since Barcelona was allowed to act during the current transfer window is pushed one-year judgment from last spring simply presented. This means that the club may not solicit throughout 2015, whether in the month-long January window, or the longer summer window.
