Leksand has had a rough start – and here comes the next adversity.
The forward Fabian Brunnstrom reported to the disciplinary committee and could be turned off.
It was in Saturday’s match against Skelleftea – new loss (0-2) – who Brunnstrom ended up in a duel with landslagsbacken Niclas Burström front Skellefteås goals. Leksand The forward overturned first bust Burström and pushed then down Burströms head against the ice.
The judges gave Fabian Brunnstrom two minutes for roughing, but since the incident reviewed by SHL Situationsrum it is now clear that Brunnstrom reported to the Disciplinary Committee.
It is now up to the Board, to determine whether he should be turned off in one or more matches.
Brunnstrom, 29, has played four games with Leksand in the fall and is still on zero points .
