Malmo may have brought gold hunt – Swedish Dagbladet

Was it gold pressure

Yes, it is not particularly daring that even now congratulate Malmo FF to allsvenskt gold in 2014.

Pawel Cibicki headed in goal that gave MFF 1-0 away to Halmstad, a hit which almost certainly decided the top battle.

For the same time Malmo held off and took his first three-pointer by only two points at the last three games lost form weak AIK gone against Mjallby, where returning Swede Christian “Chippendale” Wilhelmsson scored only goal.

Now AIK not even second longer in the table. Both Elfsborg and Gothenburg was passed after his win: 1-0 against Gefle and 4-3 against Orebro.

Three straight losses to sequentially Helsingborg, Halmstad and Mjallby is nothing but a big fall fiasco for AIK that repeatedly invited the gold race – without taking the chance.

In the matches against Helsingborg and Halmstad, it was primarily about mental by palpitations. It is clear that the players had Malmo in mind, instead of addressing the data on the pitch.

Against Mjallby was the same show – but now they had two recent losses also sat on self-confidence. Frustration in combination with listlessness gives no gold. The AIK-hubris that so often gave the team strength and courage in the fall instead served as a sinker when the game is tied in the over ambition. The losses have resulted in a vicious circle where the team’s weaknesses also uncovered.

The deficiencies not only defensively, but attacking game has in recent games also been stagnant and simplistic.

Nabil Bahoui was back after injury, but had a large percentage of errors in the posts and did not come up at all at the level he is capable of. When Celso Borges and Henok

Goitom additionally simultaneously seem worn and no other steps until the AIK becomes readable.

Christian Wilhelmsson was better classes. Mjällbys returning Swede scored his fifth goal since his return when he was in the 50th minute put the ball after return from Patrik Carlgren David Löfquists shot.

AIK can practically forget about gold hunt, nine points behind Malmo with five rounds remaining .

Instead, the sight switched to a top-three placing giving Europe Games next year. Both Elfsborg and Gothenburg snuck past and AIK must first find the right mental charging again.

– Of course it is tough. Overall, right now it’s a weak AIK three games in a row. We are not where we want to be as our goal, summed AIK coach Andreas Alm to C More after the loss.

Malmo have both Premier League and Champions League to think about, but it seems still look to defend the gold from last year. In this case it will be the first time since Djurgården (2002 and 2003) as a club succeed with this feat.

Pawel Cibicki headed the winning goal away to Halmstad in the 16th minute. Malmo then controlled the game, even if Halmstad was not oävet in pursuit of acknowledgment after the break.

– The gold is “Himma”. This we do not lose said game hero Cibicki with a big smile afterwards.
