MFF stalled against Hacken again – Helsingborgs Dagblad

And the dividend came after the break.

MFF coach Åge Hareide had no excuses.

– We got too comfortable, it’s easy when things are going well. I hope this will be a wake-up call for the whole association, he said.

– I am most disappointed that we did not take the fight. Football is a physical sport, you have to give yourself in duels, but we were second on every ball.

The loss means that Malmo FF bleak suite against Hacken extended to seven matches without a win. MFF has not beaten Hacken in the headlines since October 2011. When it was 1-0 at the Swedbank Stadium with Agon Mehmeti as the scorer.

On Thursday, it was not even close, and three former MFF player left the Swedbank Stadium as the winner. Jasmin Sudic and Ivo Pękalski played from the start, Dardan Rexhepi was the replacement after the break.

– Of course it’s a special game to win, but I will not hold any Festval or so, said Ivo Pękalski as made his seventh straight game from the start.

– The continuity I have not had since 2012 and I feel that there is more to take out.
