If Jere made a smash season last year I might have had more patience with him but I think he is finished as a hockey player.
Last season ended Kara Lahti -9 in plus / minus statistics, he was slow drinker he glided majestically up and finished clinically with heavy shots. With his right composure and strength I saw in front of me that he might be the PP king.
Perhaps it is not too late. I think he has left the shot – but the question is whether we can afford to keep Kara Lahti considering what he cost of energy for the rest of the team. I mean both physically as much BP but especially mentally. Both during the game and during exercise.
Injured players are in some ways easier to handle. Training takes place on the ice with the players who then also the match. Jeres behavior on the ice so far does not send good signals given his little tangled history. What he spreads the feelings in the locker room? In the gym? I wonder where his focus lies.
I was Johan, Johan and Johan, I would think about whether I wanted to have him in the team. I do not know what I want but I think he gets a chance. But if so, I hope it’s third time lucky.
