- Go home Swedish bastard I was told in Denmark, says Hamrén. – Football Channel

Danish media mean that Erik Hamrén is more popular in their country than in Sweden.
But the coach does not agree.
– Go home Swedish bastard I was told in Denmark, says Hamrén.

Erik Hamrén was the year coach in Denmark when he took gold with Aalborg in 2008. At Friday’s press conference said a Danish reporter that Erik Hamrén is very popular in Denmark and wondered if he thinks he is more popular in Denmark than in Sweden.

– It was mixed in Denmark too. There was a while when the results were not so good, and then it was “go home Swedish bastard.” As a coach, it is results that count. If you make good results then you are popular, you do less good results are not as popular.

– I went from there as well-liked. But while in Denmark it was mixed.

The Danish reporter then asked Mikael Antonsson if he thinks Hamrén has sometimes been too much criticism in Sweden:

– It’s always like Erik says that if you are playing well and results go with it must not be criticized. That’s the same for us players, says Antonsson.

Erik Hamrén was very careful with leaking information about the tactics he intended to use in Saturday’s match. When the question of who is Denmark’s weaknesses came, he replied:

– That I do not take up now. We will try to show it in the morning. We should avoid their strengths as much as possible.

How do you think you match the picture becomes?
– We’ll see how they act and set up. It depends on how we act. A key is that we are solid defensively because we face a ball skillfully law. Are we there we have great chance to be the winner after two matches.

How do you see the rivalry?
– This is our neighbor, it’s like when you have a fight with a brother or sister, you want to win.

How important is the away goals rule?
– I’d rather win by 2 -1 than playing 0-0. Winning is more important than keeping a clean sheet. A good result in the first is important, and 0-0 can be. One should not dramatize this with a valuable away goal. We must win the match with as many goals as possible
