Fifa president Sepp Blatter turbulent 2015 continues. After a year in which he challenged, but won, presidential elections at the congress, then still resigned in the wake of a corruption scandal and the fall itself become the subject of a police investigation and suspended by Fifa’s ethics committee, Blatter is now hospitalized.

The AFP had this confirmed by a spokesperson for the 79-year-old. According to Sky Sports correspondent Paul Kelso Blatter been admitted since the weekend and data to the BBC says he will remain posted until the next Tuesday.
The reason must be the stress that the Swiss had to live through during the past six months. The BBC describes it as “a minor breakdown.” His condition is not stated to be more serious than that he is still able to communicate fully.
