Seasoned Brynäs Goalie Sara Grahn was taken on Tuesday in Damkronornas squad for the four-nation tournament in Finland before Christmas.

But the 27-year-old is facing another hockey challenge already on Tuesday evening.

 
        
             

     
     
 

Grahn guarding Oppala IK’s goal in Gästrikeleden Derby in the men’s hockey division two, the Hofors in Gavle rink.

– It will be a blast! But a little excited and nervous too, of course to see how it stands up, says Grahn Gefle Dagblad.

Grahn, everyday in riksserien, having previously trained with Oppalas men’s team.

– The is a different type of hockey, more physical. Some pushing hard, she says of the differences with damhockeyn continues:

– The shots and the speed. Actually, it’s all that different.

Damkronornas assistant coach Olof Östblom told the newspaper that it is positive that Grahn get the chance in Oppalas goals.
