Much of the pre-talk to one of the world’s biggest television events, the NFL final in American football, was about what would be the game of the match, two completely different quarterbacks, at completely different stages in their careers, would make up.
But this year’s Super Bowl at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, was never the giants struggle that speculated about. The speedy and strong 26-year-old Cam Newton, Carolina Panterhs star, was heavily courted throughout the match and had only 18 successful passes in the 41st
Miller stepped forward
And Peyton Manning, 39-year-old veteran of five times named the league’s most valuable player, was probably happy to have had a more prominent role in the game that can be career final. It was a not very productive history with 13 of 23 successful passes.
Then it was instead the Denver Broncos Von Miller was the brightest star on the pitch. 26-year-old from Dallas, managed to get Newton to fumble twice, which was crucial for the game.
The first opportunity came in the first period. Broncos had opened with a field goal in the opening attempt and with six minutes left of the first period, Miller was in front, got Newton to fumble, which Malik Jackson came up with the game, the first touchdown.
Was the check
the Broncos held the match in their grasp. In the second period evened the numbers slightly to 13-7 after a touchdown with subsequent scores for Carolina. Broncos Jordan Norwood performed NFL history after he caught a punt and performed a run of 61 yards (55.8 meters), the longest in Super Bowl Context. Before the last period rose Denver on further and went to the last period of rest with a solid 16-7-management, after yet another field goal.
The last period was dark for Cam Newton, who was tricked into a second fumble when Von Miller crept up behind him. It gave the Broncos a chance to decisively with the ball inside the Carolina 10-yard line. A chance that Denver took and punctured the match with 24-10, which also was the end result.
