Here is Johan Mjällbys new jobs – Aftonbladet

Johan Mjallby, 44, has a new job.

He joins as manager of Västerås SK in division one.

– The this is a project and a role I’ve been looking for, he told the club’s website.

Sports blade was able last week to tell about Mjallby was at the time manager to Västerås. The former national team player left his job as assistant coach Neil Lennon in Bolton in September last year.

Now confirm Västerås SK on its website that Mjallby is finished as a manager – and it is a contract for 2+ 2 years.

– three weeks ago, this was a dream. As a former football player and football crazy in the same generation as John, I realize how big this is for the city and the region’s players, clubs and sports fans, says club manager Michael Campese on recruitment.

Johan Mjallby himself very happy with his new role.

– I am extremely pleased that together we entered into this partnership to develop Västerås SK Soccer. Then the club and my own ambition and vision is shared, there is a great opportunity that with hard work acquire further training players, coaches, club and myself, he says.

And Mjällbys ambition of the team is to remain in the division a – he looks rather up in the series system.

– We’re going to Superettan within two years and then it Allsvenskan concerning, he says to Vasteras Magazine.
