The photographers flock to the Training Centre in Newcastle and captures a smiling Steve McClaren on the way in to attend the training as usual. Rumors begin then go hot when McClarens car leave after only one hour, and twitter streams filled with speculation about why. The whole thing may be a farcical turn when it turns out that it was only the car and the driver, not the protagonist himself who left the area. Instead McClaren keeps the workout as usual, and nothing new to report occurs. McClaren took charge of the training also on Wednesday. Sources say that while Thursday’s press conference before the match against Leicester has been postponed. Sky claimed that a meeting between Charnley and McClaren would take place in later on Wednesday, the first since Saturday’s loss as coach as mentioned previously not involved in Monday’s meeting. It did not, however, and The Telegraph reported instead that only a short phone call between the parties was the result. The same source also stated that it was Charnley who set up the meeting. Benitezryktena fueled even more by the more or less informed sources. Several Spanish media report that Benitez and Newcastle sits in the negotiations and has done so in a few days.
The thing to note is that the club is still not made any official statement on the issue, which in most cases previously fallen about similar situations. How this is to be interpreted can of course be discussed, but it would be reasonable, well that if the club does not intend to make any change one should deny the rumors that take increasingly higher speed, and thus show that they have confidence in their head coach. If so, it is completely incomprehensible that one can not make any statement and end the speculation which undoubtedly have an impact on both McClaren and the players negatively. The most logical is that it is actually going on something behind the scenes that you want to get the entire solution in place before both announced that McClaren enledigats and who is the substitute.
But given that things are not conducted neither logical nor reasonable would be the tactic as well be that förösker silent kill the whole situation and put your head in the sand, which would mean that McClaren again standing on the sidelines on Monday evening when his troubled magpies will take on Leicester.
