First half
Players enters Camp Nous lawn into a powerful tifo in the form of a tribute to the recently deceased legend Johan Cruyff, while nearly 100 000 people in the stadium singing the beautiful Barça anthem. The match has not even started and goose bumps is already a fact. After the minute’s silence to the memory Cruyffs kicks off Barcelona Clasico.
Barça play the ball around quietly and calmly while Real Madrid awaits. After Busquets and Pepe crashed my plane referee blows free kick for Real Madrid and the visitors get to feel on the ball for the first time tonight. Rakitic stressed Marcelo slipping and Croat steals the ball and plays it to Messi who tries to reach Neymar on vänterkanten, but a white-clad foot gets a toe on the ball and Navas can pick it up.
Barça will an attack by Rakitic and when Casemiro clumsily shed Croat get Barcelona free kick in a good position. Blaugrana trying a variation, but the ball stays in the Real defense. Barcelona has started decently but the pace is low. After about ten minutes Iniesta pulls up the pace on the left wing and hit a ball on the depth intended for Suárez. The ball is a little too hard beaten and Navas comes out and covers the ball to the crossbar.
Shortly after hitting Bravo a long kick against Suarez, who pushed a little with Ramos but let the ball bounce on to Neymar. Brasse get into the penalty area, Suárez with him and put a pass laterally to the Uruguayan. Luisito has an open goal but somehow he fails to bring order to his legs and the ball goes to the crossbar. There will just be objective, Luis.
Barça continued to dominate possession against a very cautious Real Madrid. With fifteen minutes played Bale gets the ball deep and runs into the penalty area. Welshman try on a low cross, but Bravo is in place and lace up the post. Soon after raising Barça again tempo and in a well-played by Iniesta ends with a shot. Ramos blocks the shot, but the Blaugrana captures second ball and entrenched on the offensive half of the field. Carvajal kicks down Suárez and it is again free kick for Barça in a good location. Messi takes care of the free kick, but the ball goes wide.
Barcelona completely dominating at the moment and Rakitic fires cannon, but Navas rescues. Neymar picks up the rebound, but before he can get the post the ball goes out over the short line and it’s crossbar Los Blancos. The white-robed may not feel the ball in many seconds before Barça win it back, and in yet another attack. Neymar and Suárez combines Brazilian and shoots but the ball goes high over the bar.
In the 24th minute Messi set off a counterattack and take it all the way into the Real Madrid penalty. Ramos shed Messi and it looks like a handball in the penalty for Barcelona. The judge, however friar and replay images showing that Ramos kicks down Leo just on the penalty line. If not punishment, it’s a crystal clear free-kick, but the referee turns a blind eye.
Real Madrid begins to move up the team so small and for a few seconds bouncing ball in a pinball game in Barça’s penalty area, but when Bale finally shoots go shot over. Meringues will shortly thereafter in a counterattack and Mascherano shed Bale and gives guests free kick in a good position. Ronaldo shoots, but the ball goes over which met with great cheers at the Camp Nou.
The pace has once again fallen and Barcelona play safely without taking any risks while Real Madrid continue to wait and try to threaten on the counter-attack. Iniesta brings some magic when he switches pace, get past two opponents and caresses the ball to Neymar. Brazilian beats a cross pass to Dani Alves, who shoots a volley but the ball goes just over the bar.
Soon after Real Madrid in a counterattack and Benzema tries also to a volley. The Frenchman, no further hit and the ball lands somewhere high up in the stands. The minute then create the Real Madrid game, first corner, and Ramos tries bicycle kick the ball, but hits most Rakitic and it’s free-kick to Barcelona. Before the referee blows for half-time testing Rakitic shot from distance but the ball goes out and it’s still goalless at Camp Nou.
second half
Real Madrid kicks started the second half, but Barcelona win quick ball and Messi test shots, as more becomes a post and Navas boxes tucked the ball. Blaugrana takes the ball back quickly and Rakitic hit a pass to Suarez pulled down by Ramos. A new free-kick for the home team and Messi seems to have set its sights firmly on this evening when he again shoots over.
Real Madrid creates little mess in the Barça defense when following a counterattack after winning two corners in a row. Blaugrana, however, stool and can put themselves in a conversion after Real Madrid moved up the team. Messi finishes stagnant and keeps almost managed to snipe the ball into the top corner, but Navas gets there and guide the ball to a corner. It becomes really dangerous in Real’s penalty and Barça creating several corner kicks in a row. The third in line meets Piqué perfectly with the forehead and nod the ball into the goal! 1-0 Barcelona
After the target increases the tempo and Real Madrid are trying to respond immediately. Barça rolls however the ball beautifully and meringues can not do other than to chase the ball or wait for a mismatch. When Jordi Alba so suited wrong place Real Madrid on through Marcelo. Brasse can run all the way to the penalty area where he puts the ball to Kroos who hit a post. The ball takes at Alba and the lands of Benzema who cuts to direct and bury the ball in the net behind Bravo – 1-1 at the Camp Nou.
The match has become a bit more open and are now more back and forth, but without some of the hottest opportunities in any direction. In the 74th minute Lucho makes his first change when Rakitic may leave room for Arda Turan, thus making his first appearance in a Clasico. Soon after Benzema has finished, and replaced by Jesé.
After the exchanges will Ronaldo with speed with the ball, but is stopped by a perfect sliding tackle by Mascherano. Barcelona can set on and Messi lifts the ball over the Real defense against Suárez who shoots from a tight angle, but the ball goes wide. Chances are relentless now, and ten minutes remaining Bale puts the ball in the net. Judge approves not the case when he considers the Welshman climbed too much at Alba. The minute then pushes Ronaldo in the bar, and soon after Mascherano saves the ball from going into the net behind an outdated Bravo.
It has really heated up at Camp Nou and Real Madrid is the team that is closest to a target. El Clasico is not Clasico without a red card and indeed would the red card to appear. Sergio Ramos will burst out of a cannon and cut Suárez behind – his second yellow card is obvious and the red card is a fact.
With five minutes left Real Madrid in yet another attack and Bale hit a post against Ronaldo at the far post. Portuguese receive the ball, Bravo ports on the intermediary as he can not decide whether he should remain in the target or not and Ronaldo can snipe the shot from close range. 2-1 to Real Madrid and given the way the game has been like the past fifteen minutes you have to admit that it is not entirely illogical that it is the disciples who take the lead.
in injury time will Arda a position to level the score, but the shot is blocked by the Real Madrid defense. The referee blows the whistle and Real Madrid has broken Barcelona’s lossless suite at the Camp Nou in a game where Johan Cruyff hailed. Heavy is just the beginning.
Comments
Barcelona makes a perfectly fine first half against a sometimes very cautious uddlöst and Real Madrid. The pace was mostly low, but when Barça la a gear hung the disciples not at all. Although Real Madrid was not totally harmless when they arrived in the counter-attack through Bale and Ronaldo on the major surfaces of Barça’s half of the field felt stable defense. Alves and Alba looked to have lower starting positions than usual, which obviously helped the Catalans to end Real’s fast edge runners. The offensive was a bit of suffering exterior DEVICES retracted positions and the lack of width on the right wing when Messi searched inward and downward in the plan.
The margins were not on Barcelona’s side in the evening, which was most apparent when Suárez missed the open goal after ten minutes of play. Luisito had put the ball in the goal when the match had obviously developed quite differently. After piques goals in the second half Real Madrid screwed up the pace while Barcelona did not look particularly interested out. The feared attacking trio was not a good day and worst day of all was perhaps Suárez. Nothing wanted for Uruguayan today, despite his struggles and toil as always.
The setting of the second half was beneath contempt and perhaps it is the result of the superior management Barcelona has had in the league. By emphasizing had. We saw proof of shitty attitude in the last league match against Villarreal and it is perhaps not surprising given the lossless suite team lined up and its lead in the league. However, it can turn very quickly in football and now that we are in the season’s decisive stage, we hope that tonight’s loss triggers players to raise it a number of snap in the upcoming matches.
Despite the loss leads Barça league with 6 points ahead of Atletico and 7 points for Real. Next weekend we are expecting a very tough match against Real Sociedad at Anoeta and pivot points which can put the team in real sway. First, however, we turn our focus to Europe and the Champions League when the next Madridlag will visit the Nou Camp on Tuesday. Let us hope for a better attitude and better games then. Visca!
The best tonight:
+++ Piqué. As usual, a giant in the defense, as he is a weapon forward on set pieces. Make Barça’s only goal and can not be blamed for any of Real Madrid’s goals.
++ Rakitic. A workhorse in midfield and very involved in the offensive in the first half. Wins the ball several times and allow Barça to maintain pressure against targets. Have a couple of shots on goal, but unfortunately no nätkänning for Croatian tonight.
+ Busquets. As usual, quiet, elegant, safe and icy in his game. Sucking up balls in every possible way and distributes them further with millimeter precision.
