Bangs on the ice: NO! Bangs outside: YES! – Aftonbladet

Yes, the hockey night it was and I do not know if I should laugh or cry.

A new concussion in Växjö and a new classic press conference with Skellefteå Bert Robertson in big brawl with Frölunda Roger Rönnberg.

The fraction cheered up a bleak December night. I would rather bangs to the side of the ice than on.

Gustav Rydahls shoulder straight to the chin at the old club mate David Åslin shows why it is discussed about the lack of respect and that the guards are too harsh.

There is a spot on the knockout and I’m starting to wonder if the hockey soon have to implement the same type of chin guard that has been in American football in the NFL.

I know nothing worse than seeing a hockey player THUD in the ice and then headed out groggy and confused.

Daniel Fernholm is not yet back after Jonas Forsberg’s record ugly elbow. It is almost two months ago. Modo’s Kyle Flanagan is still a question mark after being rammed by Färjestads Danish reverse Jesper Jensen. There will also be gone two months now Flanagan can make a comeback after Christmas. No one really knows for sure.

Kara Lahti showed respect

And Modo Janos Hari was just lucky not to, he also knocked Ole Kristian Tollefsen on Thursday night, when the Norwegian jumped into an elbow that all saw except judgments bass Peter Andersson.

I think that kind of tackles is disrespectful. I saw Finn Jere Karalahti have a real Tollefsen mode in the game against Linkoping yesterday, when he could mashed the LHC player with what was proper rigging by the book.

But Finn lowered in Instead, fly and eased the blast. I call that showing respect.

That’s some players who will return in this context. Those who Disciplinary Board classifies as recidivists.

Now also belongs to Växjö Gustav Rydahl that category, as he has already been turned off five games they this season.

When he was dismissed for a so-called slewfooting which gave the old team mate from Frölunda, Emil Djuse, a concussion.

Växjö has awarded two concussions in the last two matches.

Just prior to face-off against Leksand yesterday came the conviction of the hill Teemu Laakso, who pushed HV’s captain Ted Brithén the boards so that he was lying. The judgment became four games and although I may think that the slight shove got unexpectedly serious consequences, so be Brithén in a vulnerable position.

No, Växjö coach Sam Hallam has a lot to discuss with their Players and explain that crime rarely pays off.

Yesterday contributed Rydahls five-minute penalty to Leksand could win 5-1 and take three vital points.

Skelleftea shows the middle finger

I already said a few times since that Leksand will get to the playoffs and I maintain. The seven straight losses in the season beginning gives them a head start to catch up, but they are well on the way, and today’s Leksand too good to be forced to qualify.

However, it is not a crisis team Modo. It was 2-5 at home against Örebro, who flew up to Z-fold with a Friday match in the legs. I do not know what Modo will find on the spot, and help does not come from Donald Brashear.

Recruiting of the American fighter seems more and more like a slap in the air and on the ice has Brashear nothing to contribute . Quite the contrary.

No, Modo need more than that if this season will end happily.

I was not in Gothenburg, but according Frölunda mocked Bert Robertsson some of Gothenburg’s players afterwards.

This led to a massive brawl at the press conference afterwards that ended with Rönnberg got up, went and slammed the door.

Of course it is not good if the winning team’s coach mocks a newly beaten opponent, but I will not swear that it was so, when I was not there.

I can only say that it is both refreshing and good for SHL when it gets a little squabbles. Needed. Rather all-out war than the usual diplomacy.

Skelleftea tugging at the top and everything feels like a replay of the last two seasons. It should actually be impossible after losing half a team of internationals. All credit to Skellefteå club management, who managed to find new tailor-made roles in the team.

But while I think it’s one big middle finger to the rest of SHL.

Skellefteå has a clearly worse team than last year, so it is a failing grade for the other eleven teams that fail to match Västerbotten.

Now it was the goalkeeper Markus Svensson who rescued the team specifically against Frölunda.

But Skelleftea has six straight trepoängare now leads the series with seven points down to number two Frölunda.

A team where the coach found a single internationals to Karjala Cup in slope Niclas Burström – the same Skelleftea that filled half the national team last season.

Who will take up the fight?

Right now I find no one who has neither force or skills.
