Successful debut for Rogne – Göteborgs-Posten

Thomas Rogne had to decide in his first premier league match.

– There it was really just to bust his head, he said.

The Norwegian Thomas Rogne, who played in including Celtic and Wigan, was ready for IFK Gothenburg in mid-March.

Yesterday did my hill suin first premier league match – and berlv only scorer at Gamla Ullevi. With a nod to Sebastian Eriksson’s free kick posts he made sure that IFK Göteborg came away with three points in the opener against Atvidaberg.

The goal came on the side of Gamla Ullevi where Blåvitts heel hold to.

– Yes, it is of course a bit of pressure there. I did not really know what I would do, I had a yellow card so I took it easy. But the heel was absolutely fantastic throughout the match, said Thomas Rogne.

Blåvitt looked nervous and a little anxiously out large parts of the match. Thomas Rogne, who often was right, was not itself directly nervous.

– Not nervous, but a little tense. It’s a question of finding the right ignition level and not be in flames. I do not know why the game became as it was. Maybe it had to do. It is a premiere and that means extra, especially for the fans. Personally, I felt no special never but it can happen that there was little printed in the group.

To compare allsvenkan with the Scottish League or Premier League thinks he’s too soon.

– It’s hard when I only played one match, but the impressions from the city of Gothenburg, the team and the fans are probably the best I had. Would I return to Scandinavia, I wanted a club that was run as a big club where it is expected that you will win every game, fighting for titles and get out in Europe. When we go out on the field today and see how the stands are arranged and hear his heel … It was a very nice experience, he says ..

Did you know that you had extra pressure on you ?

– A few times does not like you want, you do not get the fluency you want. Atvidaberg defended himself well, took away our edges. We are not very happy with this, but we are happy with three points, says Thomas Rogne, Blåvitts only scorer in this year’s premier division.
