Cavani: “I might leave PSG in the summer” – Aftonbladet

Since the move to PSG’s Edinson Cavani is no longer scorer.

Now, he speaks out of playing second fiddle to Zlatan – and whether he moves this summer.

– I had done many more goals if I was playing as a central striker.

Since he was recruited expensive from Napoli Edinson Cavani had it tough Paris SG. The former Serie A top scorer has had to accept that Zlatan Ibrahimovic play central striker in the French big club and he himself has been run riot on the right.

From there he enjoyed it more difficult to score, and when he got to play central Zlatan’s absence, it has not come off.

In an interview with French magazine GQ, he speaks out about the nearly two seasons in the PSG.

– I had many more targets I played as the central striker. I want to play there, in that position would my efforts definitely improved. It is the role I prefer, says Cavani told the newspaper.

“I had to move out on the edge”

Just like the Swede has Cavani been the subject of relocation rumors of the summer transfer window.

– I will stay in PSG? Maybe I do, maybe I do not. I do not know what will happen. When I arrived in Paris, I had to move out on the edge, but people do not understand how much the change has affected my game, said the Uruguayan.

Cavani has scored 13 league goals for PSG this season, four fewer than teammate Zlatan also played nine fewer games. The French top scorer headed by Lyon star Alexandre Lacazette who pounded out 27 goals to date.
