On May 24, 2014 jumped Alvaro Morata in ten minutes to go full time when Real Madrid turned around and won the Champions League final against local rivals Atlético for great drama.

A year later he’ll play Europe’s finest club teams match again – after having robbed his old teammates super meeting with Barcelona.

The 22-year-old became big, big hero when Juventus knocked out the “meringues” in the semis.

Pogba played forward

After last season left Alvaro Morata the Spanish capital for “Juve” after receiving sparse playing time during his four years there.

In the first semi-final meeting it was he who gave the Italians the lead in what ended in a 2-1 victory – and in the other it was he who leveled the Real Madrid’s lead with a goal that decided the double meeting. Both times the celebration sparingly.

Iker Casillas knock off a corner kick early in the second half. Paul Pogba snatched up the ball and played until Morata, who from close range sent it into the net.

– It’s a bittersweet feeling. I have always been able to celebrate and be happy with Real Madrid, it feels in the stomach that it is my former teammates. It is hard to rejoice, says Morata Viasat Football.

Have surrender clause

Real Madrid had previously completed the first half and took the lead through Cristiano Ronaldo penalty. And after Juventus equalizer became chances against the away goal.

Gareth Bale had two giant states, Ronaldo tried and James Rodriguez shot just wide. But Juventus – who had also modes for 3-1 – ripped and kept away.

– It is incomparable joy for them. Looking at the match, the Juventus is really, really good. The defending of a team and attack as a team. They followed his game plan, said Glenn Strömberg in Viasat Football.

“The old lady” is in his first final since 2003, when it became a loss on penalties against Milan. It can be Alvaro Moratas last game for the club. Real Madrid have a buy-back clause on him that according to the Daily Mail is just over SEK 200 million. More than 30 million more than what he cost when he was recruited …

– Many (of Real’s player) have come up and said “good luck and win this now, that you deserve,” said Alvaro Morata.
