Earlier this summer announced biathlon star Darya Domracheva she suffered glandular fever.
Now, she sets up the whole of the coming season.
– I have decided to sit out the entire season, she says to the Press Ball.
Vitryskan Darya Domracheva has been the world’s best biathlete in recent years. Last season, she won the overall World Cup and the Olympics in Sochi in 2014 combed her home all three gold medals.
Earlier this summer announced the 28-year-old that she has suffered from glandular fever, and misses large parts of the preseason.
“I had heard about it somewhere. It’s not the most pleasant diagnosis. Greetings from me and please, do not worry. The acute part of the illness is over. My doctor recommended that I rest and take walks in nature, “wrote Domratjeva on Instagram.
But now it is clear that vitryskan miss much more than just the preseason. She chooses namely to stand over the whole season, and also the World Championships in Holmenkollen, because of the disease.
– After having thought about it, I have decided to sit out the entire season, to get back into shape I had at the end of the last season, she says to the Press Ball.
This year’s biathlon season kicks off in Östersund on 29 November.
The World Cup 2016 is determined on the classic ski land, Norwegian Holmenkollen in Oslo . The 41-year-old legend Ole Einar Björndalen, has announced that he will continue his career over the forthcoming World Cup.
