Vetlanda in serial line – Sveriges Radio

The Indians started better and had at most an advantage of eight points, but Vetlanda did not give up and turned to the final match victory by 46-44.

– I was not really sure of victory until facing the 15th race with Emil (Sayfutdinov) speed and the shape he’s in and Tai (Woffinden) is the one that may do anything extreme, but I knew that they had Antonio (Lindbäck) which is in terrible shape, says Peter Ljung to Radiosporten.

Emil Sayfutdinov drove in a total of 16 points in six heats and settled the game in the nomination race.

Tonight’s victory means that Vetlanda go up in the series lead of 17 points. Vetlanda has two games less run than the Indians.

– The aim is to come first and get first pick of any semi, so it (serial line), we look forward to try to retain, says Peter Ljung.

The Indian coach Daniel Andersson was disappointed after the loss in the series finale.

– It’s always hard to lose, we have a good grasp in the beginning, but then they start to peak and then we know that they are strong at the end. We drive us away in the spare heat in which we are located on femetta and it will be 3-3 instead so it’s important points as we drive away, where, he says.
