Now, two years later, Frida Wallberg, 32, back in the ring.
– There were mixed feelings, she said to Sportbladet.
On June 14, 2013 changed the boxer Frida Wallenberg’s life.
During a title match Golden Ring gala in Stockholm was knocked her to the ground and was taken urgently to the hospital with a brain hemorrhage. She akutoperereades and lay sedated on a respirator for two days before she woke up.
“Do not think of boxing”
Since then, all focused on getting back to a normal life.
– I do not think about boxing now, but it is focused on being as healthy as possible. I’m still sick. I want to be able to cope with everyday life, to be with my daughter and take care of myself, said Wallberg Sportbladet last winter.
“Take a big step”
Now, she stepped back into the ring for the first time since mardrömsknocken before last summer. On Instagram shows the 32-year-old uploaded a video of their workout.
– There were mixed feelings. Everything comes back. Previously, I have not had boxing in his mind at all. So it was a big step to climb into the ring again. But now it feels good it’s done. And it was terribly funny, says Wallberg Sportbladet.
But she excludes the revival of boxing.
– It is not in my thoughts. I’m just happy to have come so far so that I can practice boxing again, for that is what I love to do.
