No Championship for the Netherlands – Swedish Dagbladet

On the final day of European Championship qualifiers eventually became incredibly suspenseful. In a good way for some, in a much worse way for others.

The Netherlands had to win against the Czech Republic in order to even have the chance to become third in Group A, and thus keep the European Championship the dream life. But instead ended the home team underdogs 0-2 after 35 minutes played at the Amsterdam Arena, and the misery was exacerbated further when Robin van Persie in the 66th minute unchallenged headed the ball straight into his own goal when he would clear away a Czech free-kick.

However, in the 89th minute beating Selcuk Inan a kick and because Kazakhstan while defeated Latvia away from home and sent down the Latvians in the bottom of the group handed it to Turkey would pass through Hungary in the table of best group threes and Hungary will play playoff.

Norway had a direct seat at the European Championships in their own hands and gazed out to take the chance.

Alexander Tettey knocked home the 1-0 against Italy Rome, and Norway, in the location group one. But two Italian goals by Alessandro Florenzi and Graziano Pelle sent the Norwegians in third place again. Italy won 2-1 while Croatia beat Malta 1-0 and finished second.

Bosnia-Herzegovina took care of playoff spot in Group B after beating Cyprus 3-2.

The law of playoff

The last three European Championship qualifying group has finished and all eight playoff teams are ready. Turkey became the best third place and go directly to the European Championship. Playoff Matches will be drawn at 11:15 am on Sunday in Swiss Nyon. The eight teams will be seeded and then raffled the four highest-seeded teams against the four lowest ranked. There is free lottery as to what that begins at home. Playoff games will be played on 12-14 November with the rebounds 15-17 November. The winners go to the European Championship. The following teams are ready for the playoffs: Seeded: Ukraine. Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sweden. Hungary. Oseedade: Ireland. Norway. Denmark. Slovenia.
