Sandviken no chance in the World Cup Final – Aftonbladet

The loss against Russian top team Yenisei, who won 5-0, and offered a hefty took place up in the floorball World Cup finals. Yet Sandviken coach, Anders Jakobsson, pretty satisfied after the final loss:

– This tournament gave us more positive news for the season. It was most important for us.

A festive World Cup weekend in Sandviken with very good bandy, ended with a huge anti-climax for the home team in the final.

Sandviken was no chance against the Yenisei, which based the game on an extremely strong defense game topped with nimble attack. Sandviken players did not speed up the skates and had great trouble getting through the Russian wall.

Saik had really only two real scoring opportunities: A good shot of Daniel Mossberg in the seventh minute, the Russian goalkeeper Roman Tjernych saved, and a nice post by Erik Pettersson in 17 minutes to an entirely free Daniel Mossberg, who missed.

Tough schedule

Otherwise, it was just the Yenisei on the track.

– We did not create much in the final and did not come all at the appropriate level. Yenisei played in a smart way, we not managed, says Anders Jakobsson.

Sandviken by clapping in the finals may also be due to the discharge team had earlier on Sunday against Västerås in the semifinals. It was a tight, tough game between Sweden today two best teams, which Sandviken won 2-1.

– The game may have affected our performance in the final. On the whole, we have in these days had a small squad that we matched diligently during these days. It tore at the players, says Anders Jakobsson, who deny that this thin squad could be problems in winter:

– Our squad is thin for this tournament, but not for the series of the game.

believe in Bollnäs and Hammarby

Anders Jakobsson rather focus on the positive news that Sandviken gave the turn no one:

– Now we get the order on the defensive, while files on it Patience is so important to have during the games. We are located right in the phase before the series premiere.

In the stands, set the new Swedish coach Svenneling Olsson and summarized the four bandy days in Sandviken:

– Now Sandviken and Vasteras the two giants among the Swedish law. But I expect to Bollnäs and Hammarby also become really good in winter, says Svenneling Olsson, who mentions three players who lift themselves in the tournament:

– It’s Joakim Swedish Edsbyn, Dennis Henriksen in Sandviken and Simon Folkesson in Vasteras. They are three future players, who these days has shown that they are about to bloom.
