Should it happen anything in Russia’s game … “- Radio Sweden

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Kim Kallstrom, Albin Ekdal and Pontus Wernbloom risk all to miss a possible first play off meeting if they receive a warning in Sweden’s last European Championship qualifier against Moldova.

Coach Erik Hamrén will not take into account the internationals who risk suspension of a likely play-off games.

– We’re ready for the play off. There are certainly concerns of many how should we do, should we make of some of the players who have varningfar and so on. For me it is a very important match, said Erik Hamrén at Sunday’s press conference, adding:

– It is important for rankings before the play off, the group stage of the European Championship and it is especially important that we still have a chance being second. Should it happen anything in Russia’s match against Montenegro, Montenegro beats Russia, and we’ll do ours also.

– I will therefore take out the team that I think is best to turn Moldova, regardless of warnings.

Hamrén has opted to pick up IFK Göteborg midfielder Gustav Svensson, because Jimmy Durmaz are injured and miss the Moldova meeting. Team management wanted first pick in Palermo mittfältsduo Oscar Hiljemark and Robin Quaison, but the Serie A club refuses to let off Hiljemark and Quaison the grounds that they were not charged in the original squad.

– I had a wish to pick up a winger and a central midfielder, given the warning situation where we have three central midfielders that have shutdown to wait if they get another warning. When I did not get off our Palermo player so I chose Gustav (Svensson) which I think has been really good in Blåvitt here in the headlines, says Hamrén.

Sweden-Moldova kicks Started at 18.00 on Monday evening. Radiosporten broadcast on P4.
