This is Swedish JVM squad – Swedish Radio

Two brothers Nylander got a place in Richard Green’s Swedish squad. Premiere against Switzerland on Monday.

Head coach Rikard Grönborg has notified an extra defender and two extra attackers. In order to create a competitive situation and backup for any damage.

Goalkeepers:

first Felix Sandstrom, Brynäs: Can become first goalkeeper even if he is a year younger than Linus Söderström. Has been the number 1 and have been greatly impressed in Brynäs autumn.

30th Linus Soderstrom, Djurgarden: Got her big break in the JVM last year. Has this season been loaned to White Horse, where he has done well.

35th Erik Källgren, Linköping / Oskarhamn: With the third goalkeeper and will probably not get any playing time.

Jaws

second Sebastian Aho, Skelleftea: : Dominant in the JVM last year. Has taken further steps during the season. Key players.

third William Lagesson, UMass: Formed stable backpar with Aho last year. Defensive very strong.

4th Jacob Larsson, Frölunda: Have achieved a major breakthrough in the autumn. Plays very mature.

5th Adam Ollas Mattsson, Djurgarden: Has also developed great in the fall. Contributes his physique.

6th Andreas Englund, Djurgarden: Qualified back which makes its second JVM. Live much of their physique.

7th Marcus Pettersson, Skelleftea: One of the players in Skelleftea with the best plus minus statistics in the fall.

8. Gustav Forsling, Linkoping: Got her big break in the JVM last year with three goals. Becomes important in the powerplay. Good points players.

9th Gabriel Carlsson, Linkoping: Perhaps the biggest surprise among the slopes. But has been a regular for Linkoping in the fall and is stable defensively.

Forward

11th Luke Vejdemo, Djurgarden: Has taken giant strides in the fall. Can go into a hard-working third chain.

12th Jacob Forsbacka-Karlsson, Boston University: Center developed year by year. Can be a positive surprise.

14th Fredrik Olofsson, Nebraska-Omaha: One unknown. His brother Gustav came with the JVM squad a few years ago and broke through. Go little brother Fredrik same road?

16th Carl Grundström, Modo: 97: A proven themselves in Modo. A good scorer who also work hard.

17th Dmytro Timashov, Quebec Remparts: A proper techniques that can bid on the show. Pouring into points in Canadian junior league QMJHL. Learn how to go into a second chain.

18th Rasmus Asplund, Farjestad: Fell on the finish line of the JVM squad last year. Now, a year older and has taken major steps in the SHL.

19. Alexander Nylander, Mississauga Steelheads: The only player in the squad who was born in 1998 can participate in the JVM twice. Considered by many to be at least as talented as brother William.

20. Joel Eriksson Oak, Farjestad: Player center and those needed in the team. Born 97 and has developed tremendously in the SHL in the fall.

21st William Nylander, Toronto Marlies: scored 10 points in the JVM last year. Expected to dominate even more in the years when he makes it big in the AHL with over one point per game.

23rd Oscar Lindblom, Brynäs: Formed super chain last year with William Nylander and Axel Holmström. Has continued to be strong points in Brynäs in the fall.

24th Jens Lööke, Brynäs: the development curve has leveled off somewhat. But Lööke is a player who always gives 100 percent.

25th Axel Holmström, Skelleftea: Expected to once again go into a Swedish first line. Was magical in the SM-playoffs last spring, but it took a while before the scoring came off now in the fall.

26th Christoffer Ehn, Frölunda: Hard-working forward who probably goes into a third formation.

27th Anton Karlsson, Frölunda: is making a third JVM. Played with Ehn last JVM and its intensity tough opponent to face.

28th Adrian Kempe, Ontario Reign: Strong points of the JVM last year and has taken great klib in the autumn in the AHL. Averaging nearly a point per game.
