Nylander’s first words after the blast – Aftonbladet

William Nylander missed virtually the entire JVM.

Now, the thought, the star talked for the first time since the blast that destroyed his championship.

– They show no respect. It was not only against me but the whole team, he says to SVT Sport.

Already in the opener against Switzerland took JVM-star William Nylander’s tournament final.

The Swiss Chris Egli lowered Toronto player with a blindside tackle in the middle, and rigging meant that it was out playing in the tournament.

Now Nylander broke the silence after the blast from Egli in an interview with SVT Sport .

– They show no respect. It was not only against me but the whole team, says William Nylander.

Junior crowns lost semi-final against Finland last 2-1 – a match Nylander watched from the grandstand.

– I think I had made a difference if I played. I was obviously very disappointed when I got the rigging. It has been frustrating.

Nylander would not say what kind of damage caused rigging although Toronto announced that it dealt with a concussion.

– It is good now. It has been mostly sad to be away from the guys, says the 19-year-old Center.

Sweden meets the USA in the bronze match this afternoon. Match start 15:00 and the match is broadcast in SVT2.
