Tingsryd return to top form after turning against Västerås – Swedish Radio

The Allsvenskan newcomer Tingsryd continues to triumph. On Monday evening at home hit man Vasteras 3-2.

Tingsryd peaks Hockey Allsvenskan, three points ahead of AIK who have a game in hand, after Monday evening’s home win against Västerås.

Vasteras turned the 0-1 underdog to lead 2-1 after goals by Jan Urbas and Charlie Cook in the second period. But the lead lasted just over six minutes. Then there was Eric Castonguay made his second goal of the evening and leveled to 2-2.

With just over half a minute left in the second period did Tingsryd then 3-2 by Denny Kearny in numerical superiority.

The goal proved decisive match. Table Femman Vasteras could not finish tie the game in the third period, in spite of 13-5 in shots.

Tingsryd now have ten points down to third-placed Oskarshamn, immediately below the upper limit.
