Federation: “Not done enough” – Kristianstadsbladet

At a press conference in Stockholm said federation chairman Toralf Nilsson of Athletics Federations ransacked, and concluded that they have not done enough.

– This gives an image of the Swedish athletics that is not consistent with the image we would like to give, he said.

yesterday, the answer came at Aregawis B sample, which also showed traces of the banned substance meldonium.

Coach Karin Tower Klint is surprised that Aregawi taken a prohibited substance.

– she’s not the one that stops itself whatever, she’s very particular about what she eats, says Tower Klint and mean to Aregawi are skeptical that even take rehydration without checking it out first.

Aregawi is the third Swedish athlete in a year which caught for doping after the long-distance switch Adil Bouafif and shot put breaker Niklas Lindstedt.

Athletics Association has prepared a draft proposal on enhanced measures in the anti-doping work. Among other things, wants to establish an anti-doping driving license, the athlete must be trained in anti-doping issues and to answer a number of questions before they get to be with the national team. Another proposal is to establish a policy for the athlete who trains outside Sweden.
