Kaisa Mäkäräinen took the season’s first victory in the pursuit in Östersund.
Kaisa Mäkäräinen went out in third place, but rose up in the lead after less than a kilometer. It already looked like she blew her chances when she missed two shots lying, but she decided the race on the third shooting range.
Select Seremenko missed two shots, Dorothea Wierer a shot, Darya Domracheva three shots and Tirill Eckhoff a shot while Mäkäräinen mastered their nerves and shot flawlessly. She went into the lead.
