The coaches in big trouble for hot Summit – Aftonbladet

Bert Robertsson think Frölunda players were oschysta against the goalkeeper Markus Svensson in the closing seconds. This alleged Skellefteås assistant coach for the Göteborg directly after the final whistle on the ice. Provocative, think Frölunda camp.

– Bert looks at us and just nods. We look back, and then, when he had gone some distance, I see that Anton (Axelsson) skates towards him and then he says (Bert) Type “what bad

you are, what buffoons,” said striker Nicklas lasu and continues:

– We react to it so clearly. As soon as I go there so he makes a motion like this as well (scratching his finger under his chin), and are not humble for five cents. Won the national championship two years in a row, and can not even be humble and just get off the ice. They do not even check on us. It’s bad.

Here is the full ordbråket after the game:

RR (Roger Rönnberg):

– I must say, it is distressing to Skelleftea is such a good club to behave in this way. I think it is bad respectful of you, Bert. As assistant coach in a match away from home and with lovely setting … not being able to behave sporting. I think it is osporstligt to behave so against the team loses, who has given everything. Standing there and are disappointed … to go past that point and start with gestures and call our players things, that’s too bad. Now you had the chance to apologize here, it’s a shame that you can not take it.

BR (Bert Robertson)

– Can I comment on it ? Roger, please eachother. To have respect for a coach … that you will be cutting me in this public space that way. Then there are obvious situations that you may understand that I may be confounded and disappointed at how you behave out there. I’m sitting here at this press conference and have respect for you. And in the public domain, I sit not and mock you, I do not. I’ve seen you do this before at news conferences and it’s not okay, I do not think so. That you should do it this way … sporting and unsporting … respect … I do not know where it ends up in your world.

RR: – That’s what I say. You mock my players and I do not think it’s okay. You might have to apologize so we had drawn a line under it.

BR: – But what should I apologize for? We have created a world where you can not comment on when someone is behaving badly? Should I be the black sheep when one of your players has behaved badly?

RR: – Do you wrong, seriously …

BR: – But what’s wrong then? Can you somehow comment when someone behaving badly? I know you also have stood out on the ice and screamed.

RR: – Can I borrow the mic?

BR: – I know you’ve done it. But you can do it, but nobody else can do it. Is that the way it should be? Is it respectful? Now I’m still here, and in the public domain so I choose to downplay this situation, because you know there are so many situations on the ice as you can comment here and there. And respect, Roger? I think I was respectful enough not to take it into the public domain.

RR: – Why do not you apologize.

BR: – What am I supposed to apologize for?

RR: – Can I borrow the mic?

BR: – The players call each other things on the ice all the time, and you do it well. And I shall say something face to face to someone when I walk past … I am actually provoked.

RR: – This is gruesomely bad respectful, gruesomely poor.

BR: – Then we have different perspectives of respect. To tackle someone in the head, it is respect? To kick someone with skates, it is respect? No. Here you are.

RR: – There is absolutely no respect to kick someone in the head, or what you’re talking about.

BR: – Kick skates against another hockey player … to tackle someone in the head. Yes, you have the habit of interrupting people too.

RR: – So here it is: As a coach, you win away from home … okay that Skellefteå has a high self-esteem, that they shall have, they have won a lot and is Sweden best team. But confidence has gone over to complacency.

BR: – Taunt us not now! That’s not what this is about, we have respect for the game.

RR: – So here it is: As an assistant coach … you have won a match and go past a whole team and make gestures and call my players for the buffoons. I do not think is okay. I gave you the chance, Bert, to apologize … you do not apologize … you continue and then I want to stand up for my players, for they sit down here and am pretty sick of you. Everyone sees that there will be uproar, everyone sees the gesture and there’s a movie. Apologize and move on. That’s what I mean is sporting. I have not said a single word to any of your players and will never do. End of story.

Roger Rönnberg gets up and walks out.

BR: – Was there any questions? No.

RR slams the door.
