Sävehof beating Swedish champions – Göteborgs-Posten

Sävehof won her third straight victory when Swedish champions from Alingsås fought back. Final score: 27-24.

He has just turned 19, but when the Swedish champions from Alingsås came to visit showed Niclas his fingers no excessive respect.

– He’s like a fury, absolutely fantastic, says Sävehofs coach Magnus Johansson.

Johansson looked course what everyone in a loud Partillebohallen saw: Kid Niclas his fingers were long moments the leading Sävehof against Alingsas. In any case, as long as he could.

– It was tough and hard and tight, like a derby to be, says his fingers.

And it seemed undeniably fit him well. 19-year-old stepped forward in both offensive and defensive, scored seven goals – and could even be booed by the visiting AHK supporters.

– Yes, but it’s wonderful to be booed, then it will only even more psyched. it was one of those days when everything sued, saying his fingers.

Alingsås did best, got a bunch shootout with them which gave an edge, but Sävehof worked his way up to the same location in the first half. In the second half they took over the show – and then climbed another scorer forward. Mattias Thynell showed that he had not yet received his potential in Sävehof when he bombed the entire eight balls.

– In the second half, he is quite magical, says his fingers.

– His best match Sävehof in a year and a half, says coach Johansson.

“Bagarn” enjoyed by the prestige of victory that confirms that his Sävehof really going on. Third straight victory gives confidence – and mental strength in the decisive moments.

– We have been so darn busy in many games before, but today we showed at last the cold. It is not easy in a boiling derby, but we managed today.

Alingsås came straight from the Champions league games and two tough losses against world teams Barcelona and Flensburg. Maybe it was hard to switch, for the Swedish champions was not what was required in the second half. Then it was Thynell forward and goalkeeper Johannesson back who decided to Sävehofs advantage.

And so Niclas his fingers, of course.

– He carries us forward and backward for 60 minutes. To do it when you’re 19 is very, very good, says Johansson.

– Yes, it was my and Thynells day today. But I also think we win the tactical game. We keep us calm when we are, and we push when we should, says his fingers.

Sävehof lies in writing in sixth place, two points behind third-place Alingsås.
