Stenson hopeful for the TPC – Vasterbotten Courier

The recent disease problems gave golf’s world number three Henrik Stenson pyspunka in the game.

On the way to this week’s contest in Florida, he happened to get a proper puncture – on the highway.

– There was someone who dropped a hitch in the middle of the highway and I had no time to swerve. Well it was like that. The entire deck disappeared when I took off the highway. I sit on the rim waiting for salvage, says Stenson to the Swedish Golf.

The flu was followed by the winter vomiting disease and last week’s match accordion World Cup he could not get in his best shape and could not continue after the group stage.

– Game-wise, I was still a little rehearsal of the match the ball with a bit of training now for the weekend, I feel it in the right direction and the game is okay. So it is well given hope to be able to perform and deliver some sort of result this week, he said.

He said that the energy is back after being caught with a few gym classes for the first time in a month.

Stenson won The Players Championship, at TPC Sawgrass, 2009 and looking forward to the competition.

– It is always fun to be back at the TPC. It’s a really good week, one of the best courses we play and one of my favorites.
