After having vomited blood during Wednesday’s mass start stepping Swede aside for medical reasons.
– I have a long career behind and do not want to risk anything says Jönsson.
It was during Wednesday’s mass start as Emil Jönsson felt bad. The lungs felt sore and over the course hosted the skier up blood.
– I vomited blood, it was red anyway and tasted blood, said Emil Jönsson afterwards.
Refused break
The doctors wanted the 30-year-old would break the race but Jönsson fought to the finish. On Thursday, however, came news that the Swede breaks tävingen.
