Six games, two of which are converted to a fine of 6,000 crowns.
There will be judgment for Växjö Gustav Rydahl after rigging last Saturday against Leksand David Åslin.
It was in Saturday’s match between Växjö Lakers and Leksand Lakers Gustav Rydahl tackled the away team’s David Åslin and got a match penalty. He was then reported to the Board, and now has the judgment come. Rydahl will be suspended for six matches, where two matches converted into a fine.
He stopped now from games up until 30 December, when he can play against Brynäs (b) again.
After match was Rydahl remorseful.
– I ran into him after the game and he apologized. He was remorseful and said that it was not intended. Rigging took unfortunate, said David Åslin afterwards.
Hallam taciturn
Växjö coach Sam Hallam would not comment on the length of the sentence.
– We never comment on such but we accept and informs us of the Disciplinary Board’s decision, he says to Sportbladet.
– Of course, we had rather had “Gurra” in the game, but now it is not so. Micke Johansson, however, might be back to Linköping.
What did you think of the rigging when you saw it?
– It was a very difficult situation and both players come in with high speed, “Gurra” will maybe in a little too high and it goes fast. Then of course it is never fun to see someone lying down on the ice, of course.
Twitter Fraction
