European adventure is over for Malmo FF – Aftonbladet

The European adventure got a sad ending.
Enoch Kofi Adu subjected according to witnesses of a racist attack.
Greek journalists should have done apljud targeting MFF midfielder.

It started heavy for Malmo FF. David Fuster gave the home side the lead in the 21st minute. A irritably away team had ten minutes later to see the French referee Stéphane Lannoy send up MFF freezer coach Ben Rosen in the stands. Viasat expert Glenn felt that the Swedes focused on the wrong things.

– There has been a tendency for the start complaining and whining on the judge more and more for every game that has gone into the Champions League, he said.

In the second half Olympiakos continued to press on. An hour into the game decided Emil Forsberg to break the deadlock. Malmö löpstarke outer carried the ball 60-70 yards and came far down the Olympiakos court. Forsberg looked up and saw just inbytte Simon Kroon gush forth in the penalty area.

Rosenberg and Kroon

The fit was well timed, and Kroon could acknowledge with a secure closure.

– It was an amazing good conversion. Well done by Forsberg along the edge, and Kroon makes a giant running, says Glenn.

Another goal ahead and MFF had qualified for the Europa League as group three. Then came an instant cold shower. Just minutes later, Alejandro Dominguez picked up a second ball and slammed into 2-1 at half-volley.
But Malmo FF did not give up. Ten minutes from the end sent Anton Tinnerholm into a flat posts along the ground. Markus Rosenberg twitched from her back and pressed the 2-2 in a crackdown.

The problem?

Olympiakos sent two more goals in the match final minutes. In the 88th minute forced Kostas Mitroglu up 3-2. Two minutes later ruled Ibrahim Afellay final score to 4-2.
During the final minutes, the Greek journalists in the stadium have disgraced himself. Evening Post and Soccer Direkt broadcast reporters stated that the Greek colleagues in the press gallery did apljud against Malmö’s inner midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu when he was sent off.

“Do not make a deal out of it”

The coach Åge Hareide downplaying the incident.
– I did not hear it. I do not think you’ll make a deal out of it. But they did not understand what they said, and perhaps it was lucky it. I think it was a great atmosphere during the match, he tells Sporting blade.

Soccer Direct spoke with Kofi Adu after the game:

– I hope they (UEFA) keeps an eye on it and maybe you can do something about it, he said.

The loss means that Malmo FF’s European adventure is over. The Swedes finishes fourth in the group, and therefore misses the chance to play in the Europa League. Malmö’s coach satisfied with effort.

– The only one thing counts: to get better and come back next year. And the only way to get better is to face similar resistance. This has been fantastic, we have to come back next year, says Åge Hareide.
Malmo FF has served more than 170 million on the European game.
