Decided by a “Foppa-punishment” – Helsingborgs Dagblad

Calgary beat Boston 4-3.

When Hartley wondered penalty shooters he had in mind that he heard that Schlemko been good at punishing as a junior.

– So I asked “are you good at this,” and he said he put a penalty and set it. It’s a great hindsight so I said “let’s go,” said Hartley.

Schlemko went out on the ice and did as Peter Forsberg in the Olympic final in 1994 and duped Tuukka Rask Boston goal. The image of Forsberg’s goal was then stamp.

– If we been below, I probably would not have dared to test the variant, said Schlemko to nhl.com.

Schlemko came to Calgary on Sunday, from Dallas, and had only had time to do a few sessions with his new team before his debut against Boston.

Teammate Mikael Backlund was impressed by Schlemkos goals.

– What a delicious punishment, that is. Rather important extra points for us, says Backlund to expressen.se.

Calgary vying for a spot in the playoffs.

Boston Loui Eriksson put his fifteenth goal of the season – assisted by Carl Soderberg. Backlund got an assist on a Calgary goals.
