Rögle clear to SHL – Swedish Radio

Is there anything Rögle is accustomed as it is to qualify. Angelholm team has played qualifier hockey each season the last decade, and riding up and down like a yo-yo between the highest and the second highest series.

– It has been a bit up and down during the season but to play all the way and we have done that. I’m incredibly proud of the guys says rogles coach Magnus Bogren to Radiosporten.

Last year the team was extremely close SHL games, but finished third in the qualification matches when Djurgarden went about on goal difference in the final round. This season, it was probably not many who believed that the yo-yo would go all the way up again, when the team finished fourth in the Hockey Allsvenskan and had to take the long way through the finals series to direct qualifiers.

After discharge in Ängelholm later (Rögle victory 6-1), so it became something more uncommunicative and nervous when the teams clashed again in Västerås.
