TV: Crazy slutminut when Frölunda went to the semi – Göteborgs-Posten

What a night it was. Crowded, intense, excitement – and a semi-final spot for the home team.
– The crowd, well how epic was not it? says two-goal shooter Ryan Lasch after 4-2 and a total of 4-3 in matches.

See the thrill resolution in the clip above.

Yes, it was electric atmosphere in the Scandinavium Arena yesterday.

All the ingredients were there. Crowded, crucial match and a Frölunda who completed the “impossible” facing no and made it to the semifinals.

Rylander: Not even a committee can spoil the party

The match got more lighter fluid to Luleå suspended captain Chris Abbott suddenly was not turned off anymore. It turned out to have little significance.

The American Ryan Lasch had not done any goals in the first six matches. Now, he showed the way with both the winner and runner.
– Glad course. Definitely. But I have said all along that the chances have been there and that it was only a matter of time. I’ve been playing good hockey. The statistics do not tell the whole story, he said.

2-0 is no guidance in hockey, that we remember from the CHL-finals in Dubai. But when the third place came the empty bag with just minutes remaining exploded Scandinavium. Whereupon Lulea instantaneously disappear scored two out of nowhere – and had a minute to level the score.

Lasse Johansson: Right now it’s a bit shaky

But Mattias Janmark could add another puck the empty case. So time the audience stood up, applauded, shouted, sang and beat their klappor. And sang even more.
– It

was cruel. They were absolutely crazy. When we got to the third period, it felt like they had a private party without us. I would have preferred that we did a couple of empty bag just to hear them go up again, says Ryan Lasch

The team captain Joel Lundqvist, who made a new cannon game, was composed and quite happy with life afterwards.
– Oh my God. It was a little unnecessary exciting but this is how it has been all the way in. What mood. Magically, he said.

Frölunda turned underdog 1-3 in matches to 4-3 and now awaits the semifinals against Växjö. Next stop; Sunday, March 29. The Scandinavium.
– Right now it’s more to let down his shoulders a little. Let the breath go down. You live with a tension in this kind of match series and now it is land and then set his sights on again, says Joel Lundqvist did an extra lap against the shoulder inside the ice after the game.
– Yes, it becomes so . Relief and I think they felt the same. It was very back and forth during the series, he says.

Christoffer Persson: I have many friends there

Luleå’s coach Joakim Fagervall was great in defeat.
– A ruffled pickup, cruel impressive. Frölunda win fairly. Kudos to you, he said.
