Turned down test players – get another chance of MFF – Expressen

MFF turned down Nenass last winter.

Now he gets another chance to prove themselves.

– This will be a follow-up after what we saw of him in the Canary Islands, said sports director Daniel Andersson according to a press release.

When Malmo FF last winter went to the Canary Islands for a week of training camp for the final Champions League game against Olympiakos, there was a new face on the training pitch.

Nenass, a 20 year old attacking midfielder from Cape Verde, auditioned with the team but nobbades.

– He is not finished as a player yet and we already have a lot of young talent at that position. We have also recently acquired Erik Andersson who just is a talented inner midfielders.

– He could be anything and therefore we would love to stay

in touch. We’ll see if it leads to something eventually, said coach Åge Hareide then.

MFF continued to keep in touch with Nenass and now he has been invited to a new trial games.

During the next three days, there midfielder with the MFF trainings.

– He’s an exciting player and I personally never got to see him during training camp when I was not there, so I would love to form an opinion about his qualities, says Malmo FF’s sporting director, Daniel Andersson in a press release.
