Erixon: “A bizarre game” – Helsingborgs Dagblad

With a tactical and smart hockey slammed Hammarby in the first semifinal of floorball SM-finals away to Sandviken.

The second meeting was the exact opposite.

After a tight first half and even took the meeting at Zinkensdamm off for real first with 5:48 minutes left in regulation time, the visiting Erik Pettersson leveling the score to 4-4.

Then followed the law to each other until 6-6 and after a goalless extension was the shootout that led Hammarby won with 10-8 and took a grip on the semi-final by 2-0 in matches.

– We have had some bizarre matches in the quarterfinals against vänersborg with twists, extensions and punishes but this might be? | strange, said team captain Stefan Erixon.

– It was back and forth three goals within few minutes. We were excited, was celebrated by a goal and then scored the goals. We got the “sixth grade” before 90 minutes were important and well fought.

Ulf Einarsson’s acknowledgment meant 6-6 and extension.

After two scoreless halves of ten minutes waiting shootout, and after two missed penalties – Erik Pettersson and Daniel Brooks – was the home team as the winner for the majority of 4498 spectators’ delight at Zinkensdamm.

– Beautiful but it is far from clear, although it is good to have 2-0, Erixon said.

– Sandviken have not given up but it is clearly a good idea to take with them 2-0 up. But we should suck on this candy for an hour and then think about the next game.

Sandviken Erik Pettersson, who remained longest of all teammates inside the ice, wanted most of all to play for the game directly after the final whistle.

– The first thing I think is that I want to beat on penalties. It’s no fun to be the scapegoat. You have the whole team on his shoulders when standing there. Miss you soo? | Yes, there are many who become disappointed, he said.

Pettersson and Sandviken now requires three consecutive win matches to be one of the finalists on Tele2 Arena on 14 March.

– It’s a long way back now. We have to play really good and have a shitload of fluency, he said.
