It’s the 91st Vasaloppet. The first Aktes Sunday, March 19, 1922. Three races have been set: 1932, 1934 and 1990.
Vasaloppet is 90 km away.
Since 1948, the race has always been the first Sunday in March but because of the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun determined Vasaloppet this year on the second Sunday in March.
 * Vasaloppet 2015 was fully subscribed on a minute and a half when the notification was opened in March 2014. That means 15,800 notified participants. The record is 16 462 from the year 2010, but now the roof 15 800.ââ
Over 2,000 women have registered for Vasaloppet
A * Vasaloppet 2015 participants from 40 different nations including Sweden.
A * average age in the Vasaloppet in 2015 is 41.3 years. The youngest participants are 19 years old this year and the oldest is 89 år.ââ
2014 won the John Kristian Dahl (at the time 4:14:33) and Laila Kveli (4:31:57). Laila also won 2013.ââ
Jorgen Aukland became history’s first 2013 Vasaloppet winner who staked the whole race without the kick wax. Laila Kveli became in 2014 the first lady to win without fästvalla.ââ

Until this year has 887 Vasaloppet Veterans (including six women) skiing 30 or more Vasalopps / Open Track.
Each participant in Vasaloppet’s winter week drinking almost a liter blueberry soup. In 2014 they drank together 44 000 liters blueberry soup, 39,000 liters of sports drink, 11,000 liters of vegetable broth and 4000 liters of coffee at the seven matkontrollerna. It is also eaten 100,000 Vasalopps buns. After the finish exhausted even 6000 liters of juice. To all this needed 770 000 paper cups.
