Norway warned of Fis after dark activities – Sveriges Radio

According to NRK, it is about two times when Norwegian skiers have broken the rules around when truckers are allowed to drive on Falun’s World Cup courses. The first time was when the Norwegian sporting Vidar Löfshus tested webs together with a waxing.

But who the other rider’s who used the trails without permission is still unclear.

– The first time it was Vidar himself, the other time we do not know quite sure who it was. We are working to resolve it, we know it is a Norwegian because of his vest, says race manager Pierre Mignerey to NRK.

Several media outlets speculate that it could be Petter Northug, who was caught on video last Tuesday when he trained at the finish in Falun.

Expressen has talked with the Norwegian national team manager Trond Nystad. He could not confirm if it’s Petter Northug behind the second warning, but plans still talk to the star.

– If someone has gone into the grooves when someone will not go into the grooves and it has created a problem then it is clear that we should take it up with Petter, and I’m sure we do not do it again, he tells expressen.se.

Event manager Pierre Mignerey says to NRK that the union can punish Norway but that it is hardly relevant for these particular offenses. According to him, there are other nations who received warnings for similar events.
