Bold Eagle won the Prix d’Amerique 2016 – Expressen

Bold Eagle won the Prix d’Amérique in 2016.

After taking over the lead relatively early paraded the favorite all the way into the goal.

– This victory is my father, he died last Thursday, said coach Sebastian Guarato emotional in TV12.

Despite a highly dubious heating went the way of the big favorite Bold Eagle in the world’s toughest trotting race, the Prix d’Amerique.

After Timoko with the Swedish Björn Goop made it to the lead he released after half of the race to the Bold Eagle – who stayed there all the way into the goal.

Over the riot could even driver Franck Nirvard afford a victory gesture, in his fourth victory in a super race.

“Victory is my father”

What really captured the hearts of the audience, however, was not the victory, but the interviews that followed. It turned out that the coach Sebastian Guarato had lost his father as late as Wednesday.

– This victory is my father, he died Thursday. It was a huge relief. I am grateful, a stone has fallen from around trotting France’s heart, he says to TV12.

The expert Sofia Aronsson, who works as a trainer in France everyday, says:

– Sebastian’s a person who is very easy going, cheerful and pleasant. You get a tear in his eye and almost a stomachache.

“The hair stands straight up”

Everywhere showered praise for the horse, which then met older horses for only the second time. The first time was for a couple of weeks ago in the Prix d’Belgique when the horse crushed the resistance – and even then there was of course the victory.

– The hair on your arms stands just straight up, says a shocked Per Skoglund TV12 .

Lutfi Kolgjini, who has not managed a Mosaique Face that is not at all in the form, where he also mightily impressed by the phenomenon of Bold Eagle:

– It is a very complete horse . He is both strong and speedy, wonderfully well.

Can be Elitlopp

What is happening now with the Bold Eagle is not set in stone – but all traveling lovers in Sweden, of course, a special race in mind. The last weekend in May is running as usual Elitlopp at Solvalla, and to see him set against Nuncio, Delicious, the U.S. and the gang there is for many a dream.

If you can get rid of? Yes actually. The coach Sebastian Guarato As recently as this week opened up Sweden’s biggest race, so now we just have to get along somewhat skeptical about the owner of the train.
