Lingmerth second after a playoff – Vasterbotten Courier

David Lingmerth finished second in the US Tour’s golf in California after losing in a playoff against American Jason Dufner.

The Swede was chasing his second win of his career, but a double bogey after a water main extinguished hopes on the second playoff hole. He said at the press conference that it was the thick grass on the other team that did he not managed to get the ball across the water.

– For was not really swing poor, says Lingmerth.

– I’m happy with my game all week, but I’m not satisfied with the results of the first days (68 + 68). Over the weekend I had a couple of good scores (62 + 65) which gave me a chance in a playoff. I’m just disappointed with how it ended.
