Dahlstrom: “It feels very exciting” – Expressen

Freeskiåkaren Emma Dahlström from Torsby shocked everyone by winning slopestylen X Games – and swept then also won the overall World Cup.

Suddenly she was one of the sport’s biggest.

And that’s not all. Dahlstrom was one of the 13th Swedish athletes nominated for Jerring price.

This winter, the 23-year-old competed sparingly. Three appearances in the World Cup has become. The most recent was this weekend, Mammoth, where Dahlstrom finished third – in difficult weather conditions.

– It was very difficult with the wind. Every other year so flew one way and every other year so flew to short, says Emma Dahlström.

– But I’m very happy about the third place. It feels good for the X Games.

time on the snow and had confidence in skiing that I had not had before, says Emma Dahlström.

– The trend in the right direction, skiing is stronger, I’m doing higher jumps and my trick is better.
