Hamrén open for upsets in the Swedish Championship squad – Göteborgs-Posten

– The getting harder and harder to get completely unknown in the European Championship. It is after all a big difference playing the U21 Championship and a senior championship. The more you’ve been through and tried, the more chance you have to get into the European Championship squad.

– I’m not close any doors. It may be a contender in the EM anti also. We will be together for many days and need to work together. When you want to know the player you take in also works in the group, that’s why we looked at John (Hopf) now.

Victor Lindelöf played both matches from the start.

– I think Victor has been very good in the club, because I wanted to see him here. A good performance in the first game and I wanted to see him in others too. Unfortunately there was no match time for Erik Johansson, which is a pity.

– First, I do not know if I agree with you. I think we’ve had it a number of times before. We had the month of September where we had a tough time against Russia, but especially Austria here at home.

– If you look at qualifying as a whole, we have made it tactically good, although we have played

with slightly different formations. Then we got to the really good against a good team, where we might have had a bit dicey past. At home we were really well both offensively and defensively. In Copenhagen it was more defensive because we led.

– I think we’ve had a long period where we’ve done that we should do. I think we got the kick against Denmark, to move on from the play off, we try to build on.

Sweden’s opponents in the European Championship played match on Tuesday evening. 1-4 for Italy against Germany, 1-2 to Belgium and 2-2 against Portugal for Ireland against Slovakia.

– I have not seen their matches. I have downloaded them. I have not talked to Reine and Peter, only heard the results, so it is difficult to assess.
