Olofsson match winner against Tingsryd – now Leksand determine home on Tuesday – Dalarna Newspapers

The first period was very smooth gameplay in the first playoff match between Tingsryd and Leksand.

There were two compact defense that rarely gave some open space. The biggest mistakes came from the home side gave the LIF a bunch of hot scoring opportunities.

Leksand was however the best start.

At the end of the period allowed Anton Karlsson a location and shot against Wictor Ragnewall who dropped the puck in his own goal, when the clock was at 18:41.

Second period started as the first ended – even games between the teams. Both LIF and Tingsryd took turns with chances but the longer period, suffered the closer came Tingsryd tie the game.

The home side hit the bar with a cleanly slap shot that Haukeland in LIF bag was not awake.

The acknowledgment came just over halfway into the period after a huge miss by Jonas Frögren who took the puck out of the middle zone and the right to a home player, which basically just went into the offensive zone and fired the puck into the net.

Niklas Enberg 1-1-goal gave the home team more energy – but Leksands defense except Frögrens mistake was compact and stable in a completely different way compared to the previous winter.

biggest mistakes in their own zone has Tingsryd stood for.

Kevin Ekman Larsson, brother of Oliver Ekman-Larsson, may have extinguished LIF’s dreams of being able to determine the home in Tegera Arena on Tuesday night.

at the beginning of the third period, just over a minute into it, so he bombed against Henrik Haukeland and the puck went into the goal for Tingsryd who had turned 0-1 to 2-1.

Tingsryd pressed and Leksand began to cut corners in their own zone – and it did not look good.

When Anton Karlsson stepped forward again and played until Janos Hari flicked into 2-2 behind Wictor Ragnewall.

Tingsryd goalkeeper then stood for a giant board.

Johan Olofsson shot from a very tight angle but the puck managed to find its way in at the near post and above Ragnewalls shoulder – a puck that home keeper should have taken.

– I see that there is an opening at the near post and sends the puck. Nice to see it go in, says Olofsson Cmore.

Tingsryd took time out with just under three minutes left in the third period.

Leksand eventually won 2-3 away against Tingsryd and can now decide at home on Tuesday.
