Premier League team Sunderland midfielder Adam Johnson is accused of additional sex crimes.

He must have had sex with a 15-year-old girl on three occasions .

Adam Johnson is accused of three occasions have had sex with a girl who at the time was 15 years old. He must also have engaged in grooming. This was announced by the police in Durham on Thursday, according to AFP. Johnson must have visited a police station on Thursday to respond to the allegations.

“As a result of a survey conducted by the police in Durham, today I allowed the police to prosecute Adam Johnson, 27 years old, with four offenses, “says Gerry Wareham, chief prosecutor in northeast England, in a press release.

The 27-year-old, who made 12 appearances for the English national football

team, was arrested in early March for having had sex with an underage girl. Cases of wrongdoing must have occurred between 30 December 2014 and 26 February 2015. He was initially suspended from his club, but began training – and has also played matches – after being released on bail.

Adam Johnson has represented Sunderland since 2012, when he arrived from Manchester City.
